Course needs work, but has an interesting layout and challenging holes. Always enjoy playing there.
GREAT ROUND WITH SON
Played here on a Monday with my 12 year old son the course conditions were excellent, saw some reviews about course being burnt, I did not see any burnt spots. Enjoyed the peace and quiet of the course and some interesting holes only bad thing no food or beverage on course
A hidden gem in South Jersey
Course was in great condition - especially for October. The bunkers need work but it’s probably a good idea to stay out of them anyway...
This course has a really cool layout.. So many neat holes. It however is not taken care of in the least. The traps are a disgrace and completely flooded out (have been all summer, I've played it a few times). Tee boxes and fairways are average at best. There is no where on the course to grab something to eat during the round. They have some drinks in the pro shop and that's about it. This course needs new ownership ASAP. It is not at all worth $55 on a Wednesday in October.
Always enjoyed the course
Always enjoyed the course My son and I played a great day pace of play couldn’t have been better
Ok course. Nothing stands out. Staff were helpful, and accommodating.
All in all an ok experience. Flies on the back nine. Bring bug spray.
Our Favorite Course
We have loved this course since it has been open and try to get down to play it at least once a month. The wide fairways and roll on tee shots does help shorter hitters like us compensate for the overall long length of the course. There are enough sets of tees to challenge more skilled golfers. Course was soggy the day we played, but it rained (1.5") hard the night before. The greens have always been excellent and true. The course itself is showing some of the typical summer wear, but overall vs other similarly priced courses it was in very good shape. Agree with bunkering issues previously mentioned. They are better than they were at the start of this golfing season, but still problems with drainage and rocks in them. The staff always treats us very well. Can't say enough nice things about all of them. Bank ownership of the entire resort property does bring with it tighter budgets, which we hope an eventual new owner will ameliorate.
Grapes of Wrath
Always live this course, overall layout and general playability. Course was a bit soggy but that’s not new for this course. Bunkers needed to be pumped out as they were filled with water causing the loss of several
More balls than usual. Also, several fairways were pretty beat up. Course is still Bank owned so hopefully a new owner will give it the attention it needs.
We like this course very much. Conditions were very good and the course is both interesting and a challenge
Course was in great condition and looking the part. Nice and green everywhere. Sand traps had some ponding from rain 2 out of three days. Get some more dirt in there, all good. 4.5 out of 5 today. Staff was super friendly and the GolfNow deal was less than $40 with my reward. Thanks!!
Great value for the money
The course was well maintained. Greens on the front nine were a bit slow BUT back nine greens were definitely quicker. If you like to “grip and rip” your driver this is the place for you, definitely wide open although somehow I found trouble. Not too much water on the course and the sand traps were below average.
Pace of play was a solid 2hrs per nine holes. Definitely worth playing in the A/C area if you visit for a few days.
Thumbs up on value $$$ for the experience.
Thursday at Renault
Course was in great shape, challenging, fun, and a bit longer than some area courses. I look forward to a return visit.
What Happened to Watering
It is hard to imagine a course being so burnt out this early, tees, fairways and greens all had dead/brown areas, what happened to watering the course, sure lately it has been hot, but courses near here are not like this, stay far away, don't support the owners who can't manage, there are better options for your golfing dollar and Renault is not one of them.
