best service ever
We Played on a 100 degree day. They gave us a bottle of water at the start of the round. Then 3 times during the round a ranger checked on us. He offered ice, water and cold towels. Never seen anything like this.Thank YOU!
Over-priced for conditions
Honestly, the course layout has the potential of being a good challenging course. Greens were extremely patchy and bumpy as a result. Tee boxes eccentially had no grass which can impact footing. Fairways were dry and very weedy, with little grass despite bing in the FL wet season. Price was decent for area, but considering condition of course should have been in the 20's. Temps reached 100 degrees yet there was NO coolers in the spots around the course. What were they thinking?
Good practice
The crs needed care but to just go out to play and try to get game together it’s great no crowd or rush to play ice staffs very friendly and a cold beer too
Really sad
This place is just a cow pasture, no tee boxes no fairways just awful. No water on the course. But honestly don’t go.
It's coming together. Obvious signs of work being done and it shows. Most of the greens are pretty good but the tee boxes need help.
Fairway edges are thick. You can lose lots of balls.
Course improving
Course is interesting and conditions are improving. Tee boxes were poor but fairways and greens were ok. Carts are provided with a rake to help keep traps in good shape and they were. I live nearby so I play here occasionally. If you're within 30 minutes, course is worth a look. Staff is very friendly.
Still a work in progress
Lots of work being done on the course. Most of the greens are in good shape. Fairways are being aerated and are rough in some places.
Bottom line, rates are very reasonable these days and the course was not crowded. Pace of play is what you make it and the course still has a pretty challenging layout. While I would love to see it as it once was, I still recommend playing it today.
The course seems to be coming together - recovering from the cold winter and the work they are putting into it.
The greens are better and the fairways are good but there is still much that can and should be done. Give them credit - they are trying.
