Glynhir Golf Club

Picked to play here as its fairly local,first oerson we met was the pro who was extremely helpful,getting the buggy set up for us,and even paying compliment to my calkaway (augusta staff bag).
The course was in great condition especially after such little rain,the fairways were striped neatly,the greens although fairly quick were still holding,definitely would recommend this course,the layout is good,2 par 5s on the front nine,you need to plot your way round.
Decided to pop in the clubhouse ,again all the staff were very friendly and helpful,and enjoyed a lively home cooked meal and a pint,the oerfect end to a great round.

Enjoyed playing Glynhir. Giving that we were in winter the course was quite soft in parts, however the greens played good and it didn’t affect our round. Will look to play again in the warmer conditions.

Stunning golf course. My only criticism is of the ground staff. I felt like they followed me around all the way through my round and were at times very inconsiderate. On one occasion I was about to play my shot into the green (I was addressing the ball) when they drove on to the green and then moved the hole. I was stood waiting for a long time, when they could have just done it after Id finished as no one was behind me.
I did find it very off putting when the groundskeepers were only moving away from the green after I'd played my shot in.
I appreciate they have a job to do and they keep the course in fantastic condition. But I found them to be inconsiderate at times. On 2 occasions I was waiting so long I had enough time to have a beer and a sandwich before I could play my shot. Definitely hindered my scoring.
I will absolutely be back though.

Had the opportunity to play this course following praise from a friend. Tell you what they were right. What a little gem of a golf course, greens and fairways in brilliant condition. Perfect course for all abilities. Top it off the sun was shining which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff and members were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended to anyone and will most definitely be returning. One happy visitor:)

Great course really enjoyed, tees and greens well looked after…signage could be improved on tees and direction to next tee but that’s just being picky. Nice little club shop friendly staff and locals seem inviting too. Will definitely return in summer not sure what a winter round be like best take your flippers I’d think.

A little gem of a course. Played with my son who also enjoyed it. Greens in excellent condition, long slim greens, amazing views.

First time playing there for two beginner golfers. Very friendly staff and other players. Course was in fantastic condition and very enjoyable to play with a wide variety of holes. Had a pint and some food afterwards which was again quality. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definitely return

Played this for the first time yesterday and the course was great. Some beautiful layouts and challenging holes.
Greens were perfect throughout.
One or two parts of the course a little wet under foot but didn’t affect us too much.
Staff and members all really friendly.
Only negative was the poor direction signs between holes.
Looking forward to coming back.
