White Oaks Country Club
About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Much improved
We usually play here a couple of times a year and this was our first time this year. Our foursome was very impressed with all the work being done here. First -carts with gps-yay
Second—course fairways and greens were the best we have seen them in a long time
Last-the most friendly staff around.
Kudos to White Oaks management on a job well done. Try this course and I don’t think you will be disappointed.
rocks rocks and more rocks
course was just ok. fine for the price BUT the major problem is the bunkers. Sooo many rocks in the bunkers. after all these years why do they remain????? That alone would suggest not to play this course
Just a pleasant place to play the people that play there. The people that work there all seem so happy.
I see change
I want to say that I was quite surprised by the carts with the computer screens. It made such a difference in my play because there is rarely service. Also it looks like there are attempting to upgrade the course which is way overdue. I’ll be back to see if things are continuing.
Could be great
Fairways were a field. They seem to be working in the course but it was poor. They need to get some expert advice. Maybe not enough sun on the course. Too many trees. Will not retutn
Regularly customers
Nice price, nice layout, nice people
The coarse does need work
Great value, friendly/helpful staff, course shape is ehh
I have played here twice now. Weekday value is 99th percentile in the area. $35 bucks for 18 holes after work is something that doesn’t exist post covid.
That being said, the fairways were in pretty rough shape. Really patchy and just not good turf. I was sort of disappointed because even the greens being aerated were in alot better shape than the fairways, and usually it’s flipped. Not sure if it’s the tree lining that keeps the fairways hard to upkeep, but this was my main issue.
Course is a shorter tree lined course, signature to the south jersey region. Big hitters beware, your 250-300 yard drives are moot here. Hit your long irons off the tee, hit the end of the fairways, and you will have easy 80-120 yard approach shots on majority of the holes. There are maybe 2-3 holes that truly warrant a 250+ yard drive, my driver stayed in the bag except on those holes (5,10,11 i believe)
Staff was very friendly and kind. Starter Nick was really nice and down to earth. You could tell he just wanted to get people out in an orderly fashion and did a good job at it, which would be a big reason I would come back, I know I’m gonna be fit in somewhere as a potential single.
Definitely coming back, will probably work to play this course 2-3 times a year.
Fun course
Nice layout and well kept course. First time playing here. Drove a hour and 15 minutes to play. Definitely would come back and the staff were great.
work is still needed
I see they are trying to put he course back in good shape - the most needed was the cart paths also too many bald spots in the fairway.
Showing signs of improvement
The course had some bad spots some spots in the fairway were bald, but I did notice that they were in the process of bringing it back to a nice course again
OK for the price
The course is OK usually we have a good time playing here. It was just too windy and cold and wet from the previous rains.
Not bad
The course needs some work. Let’s see what happens once the warmer weather kicks in. Had a great online deal which made us more enjoyable. Played in 3:15
