Open layout, friendly staff, with a good pace of play.
Great for new golfers and experienced golfers alike, I was worried about the length but from the blacks kept it interesting and competitive with my wife. Greens are a little slow but I will definitely play again.
So disappointing and sad!
Morgan Creek use to be a gem! So sad to see it in such poor shape. The greens were soft and pock marked-dead spots all over every green on the front nine. The fairways were non-existent overgrown with mowed weeds and crab grass.
It really looks and feels like they’ve given up on this course. So sad
The greens are terrible. There’s brown spots everywhere. The fairways have a lot of dry areas. And the cart decided to go home at noon on a Sunday cause who needs drinks in the afternoon on an 85 degree day. I don’t know who’s in charge but they’re not keeping what was a fantastic course in shape.
The condition of the course was bad fairways and several of the greens had brown patches which rolled your putt offline.
Very nice course but greens were being repaired
Morgan Creek is a very nice course with interesting and challenging holes. Pace pf play was great and weather good but several of the greens had lots of sanded areas that were damaged (told they were killing crabgrass?); otherwise all was good.
Nice course but greens in bad shape
I've played this course a least a dozen times, but was very surprised today with rough course conditions. The greens, especially on the front nine, were in terrible shape today. Full of bumpy divots and bald spots. The fairways also have lots of crabgrass and damaged areas.
Greens or Rocky Mountains?
Worst greens I have every played on, chunks of missing greens every where. I’ve played this course 30 plus times and have never seen it this bad. Fairways were in bad shape as well, not sure what they are going through but hopefully they can turn it around as this course used to be a great place to play.
Most greens are looking very bad. I have been playing here for about 3 years. This is the worst I have ever seen the greens looking.
Going down hill
Course was in terrible shape. Not much sand in the bunkers, and green conditions are not good. Multiple times I was in the fairway and had to move my ball to a patch of grass because the area where my ball landed the grass was dead. Too many good tracks in Roseville to come back here.
It’s been awhile since we’ve played M. Creek.
Not sure what’s going on, but the total course conditions are lacking . Fairways have dead spots on most of the holes. Greens have dead/brown spots on most holes. Overall the total look of the course is just dirty/old and not up-kept . This is just what I encountered on the course . I have no knowledge about the state of the course .
SAD Conditions!!! Such a waste of a potentially great golf course.
Almost two decades ago when the course was first opened, it was a pride of the Sacramento Valley golf courses, acclaiming as the 17th best golf course in America. We were proud of being the members of then-private golf course. We were willingly paying the monthly charges over $800 dollars for good &beverage, in addition to the annual membership fees over $4,000 dollars. We felt it was worth it.
Visiting the course today the first time in two years, my wife and I felt sad as we were trying to play our round. I don’t know anything about the current situation but the corse showed everything as an abandoned and neglected in maintenances. Fairways are damaged, bunkers are filled with stones and debris, lakes were gone green and stunk. It seems like the course became the wild life refuge with geese, ducks, turkeys, rabbits and countless squirrels digging their holes all over the place. I just wish that someone with a golf-mind take charge and revive this beautiful golf club. Until then, we will not coming back to play. Sorry.
Could be much nicer
Good track with challenging greens. Fairways and green surrounds were in very poor condition. A lot of the fairways had dead grass areas where you needed to relocate your ball to an area where there was existing grass to hit off ( just playing a friendly game). Greens were slow and had numerous non-repaired ball marks. It's a shame that conditions were not better b/c it could be a great venue. Pick a better conditioned course.
Beautiful Golf Day
Weather was perfect. Greens excellent. Fairways are starting to show some summer wear; but very playable. Sand traps could use some work. That said, it was a fast round for our 4-some with no waiting on any T. Starter let us off early which meant home early which is perfect! We'll be back, I"m sure.
Promo code problem
Went straight to Thanks for booking. Never let me put prome code in. Paid a bit more than i was anticipating.
The course is very wet! The ball is pluging in the fairway and around the greens. Ball marks on the green are about an inch deep.
