New Favorite Course!!!
Wonderful course staff and ameneties!!!! Get there if you can!!!
Great day at LBI Sea Oaks
Weather was sublime. Staff super friendly. Except for a few diseased spots the course was in great shape. Got jammed up a bit behind a large group but wasn't horrible but I can see how it would be before Labor Day. My gal and i Got paired up with a super nice local couple and we all had a blast! Scenic course with some nice challenges.
Great, very challenging
Good coarse in fair to Good condition for this time of year.
LBI National A+++++
Even Playing after recent aeration the course was in better condition then most in the area. Awesome facilities and people!!!!
Pleasant surprise
Played the course years ago before the shutdown. Was then and still is one of the most visually attractive public courses in South Jersey. The combination of secluded routing, elevation changes, and shot choices makes it the best choice for golfers near LBI. The course was just aerated, so give it two weeks to recover; you won't be disappointed.
Only negatives:
Pace: 5:10 on a Friday because one group had 2 open holes ahead of them the entire back nine. They weren't bad players, they just drove around to each ball and waited for the shot to be hit. Same unprepared behavior on the greens. Didn't fix pitch marks on the greens either.
The middle tees need to be leveled. Very few level lies on tee shots. I realize this is something that can be easily addressed over the winter.
I am looking forward to playing the course again, thank you for reviving such a beautiful course.
Birthday Gift
This was the first time i had played this course since the changeover from Sea Oakes to Lbi National. The course was in good condition, starter was friendly and the pace of play was OK.. We ate at the restaurant which was fine and overall it was a nice day with my son and two son in laws. The price was worth it and I would recommend it to play. Onr suggestion add more yardage markers in ghe fairway.
Enjoy updated course
They’ve upgraded this course. It’s nice to play and upkeep is good. Range could use an upgrade though.
Rude Staff
Very rude and sassy staff. I understand you are a private club but if you dont want people coming for the day, dont sell your tee times
Rude
Such a rude club. Don’t sell your tee times if you don’t want non members there. Not my problem if your business wants my money for tee times too and I’ve never been treated like such garbage by staff. The members of the club were nicer and less conceited than the staff. Never seen anything like it and was highly offended.
Improving Monthly
I see improvements every time I come. Clubhouse grounds, bunkers, and general maintenance upkeep. The course looks like it gets heavy play. Will return.
LBI National
Course conditions kept up very well. Staff very professional and kind. Greens difficult. Pace of play phenomenal. Well worth the $100.
Good, challenging course
This was a great round, and I hope to be back again sooner rather than later.
Overpriced for what it is
While this is a nice course, and I had fun playing it, it is most definitely not worth the high price-tag. Twilight for 79.00! Unless rates come down to reason, I'll not be playing LBI again, despite it's convenience of being in my In Law's neighborhood.
Nice course restaurant needs training
One of my favorite Local courses which has changed hands and was closed up for a couple years. Present conditions show it overall a beautiful layout And in time I am sure it will be in top condition.
That being said, as it was recently purchased by the same company who owns Renault winery It will take some time and some better management to bring the restaurant up to par with Renault.
Obviously, things need to be improved as our waitress served us Chardonnay telling us it was white Cabernet. I need not Say more. Food ok at best. Decor very nice.
We have stayed at Renault winery several times since the new ownership, and they have a ways to go to catch up at LBI national
LBI National
Cart part only made it a very long day.
Call ahead after it rains to check on course conditions. If you’re a senior golfer, you may want to consider waiting to play when the 90* rule is implemented.
Great course! We’re happy that it’s up & running & TCOB.
Friendly staff!
