Scotland Run Golf Club
About
Scotland Run Golf Club is conveniently located less than a half hour from downtown Philadelphia and only 45 minutes from Atlantic City. It has been voted the top golf course in the Philadelphia Region and it's also ranked in Golf World's Top 50 Public Courses in the country. The layout is routed through and around an old sand quarry, providing a unique mix of wooded, quarry, and links-style holes. The distinctive landscape has unique features including expansive waste areas and imposing cliffs that were deftly incorporated into the design. The golf course is wide open, which means it's at the mercy of the prevailing winds. Scotland Run Golf Club is a tough but fair test where you'll face forced carries, water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers. On mornings where the fog rolls off of the hills, for a split second you might think you're at St. Andrews.

Love this course
Scotland Run is one of my favorite courses. Great layout and great condition. One piece of advice for the over 70 not as long as we used to be golfer, mix up the tees. Some of the long par fours are not fun. Move up!!
much improved
Scotland Run is in much improved shape over the past couple of years. The fairways are thick and lush, the course is manicured nicely and the greens are mostly good. Some greens are a little spongy and inconsistent but that would be the only thing that I was think that was not perfect. As a layout, the course is spectacular and includes a great collection of long and short holes. Birdie opportunities are there for you. The challenge of the last 3 holes is as good as it gets.in public golf.
Awesome track!!!
Everything about the course is 5 Star. Would definitely bring the guys here to play. :D
Over priced
This course is always over priced in my opinion, but when you compare it to other local courses, it's head an shoulders better! It's never worth 120$ especially after it's just been aerated on greens an fairways is not cool. Still would recommend this course all day. Great layout an some cool holes, just can't justify the $
Excited and wound up with an alright day.
Waited a number of years to play this course. Very unimpressed for what they charge. Course is overated and stands on name alone. Fairways mediocre at best. Repairing quite a few areas off fairway with new sod. In fairness. Greens were awesome. Overall. Left wanting a better experience and have played much better conditions and courses for less money. Scotland Run needs to do better or lower your rates to reflect your course. Balamor and AC obviously better of the 3.
Par and Bar
The Par and Bar is a great event at Scotland Run!! A round of golf, draft beer and buffet.. The course was in great condition. They have removed a ton of trees and the course is now wide open.
Wow. Save your money
For a discounted rate I got to play it - and I paid too much. 3 temp greens on the front 9, and a closed hole on the back. The course was in such disrepair it was impossible to putt on any green and honestly were close to the same speeds and cut as the temp greens. Our playing partners joked about it but honestly- it wasnt worth it. As for the hole that was closed - not sure why since it looked just as bad as the rest of the course, certainly no worse.
Played here a few years ago and loved it - couldn't have been more disappointed.
Hmmm
4 greens were closed. nothing about this when booking and was unaware till the staff mentioned. $59 greens shut down, no staff at at the halfway house
A great challenge
This course is great as usual and is a great challenge compared to the parkland style courses that are abundant in south jersey.the greens were a little patchy compared to the practice green but is probably due to the over abundance of rain this season.did not have to wait on any tee and barely saw the group behind us.a wonderful day of golf and the staff was awesome.
Rainy days
We were prewarned by the club the greens in bad shape, and they were. It rained and course was soggy. Generally this is very good course. Be that as it was we still enjoyed ourselves
True links course
This wasn’t my first time playing Scotland Run. We were told about the greens being in less than stellar shape. Well, the majority of them had damage from the wet summer. They were under repair and shaggy. Other than that the course was in great shape.
Awful greens
Greens were atrocious. Almost not playable. Normal round 89$, this round 59$, should be 29$.
