Good layout
Good track with decent greens. Fakrways ok...layout very good. Some really good golf holes
took us 5 1/2 hours to play. We waited on every shot....I’m talking every shot
There were sometimes 4 groups on a hole.. I get that your trying to make money ....but 5 1/2 hours is unacceptable
Sad because it is truly a good golf course
No greens.
Still no greens ,just green sand. Worth 15 bucks. Golf now get it together...everybody play somewhere else...maybe in 4 months..
Underrated
This is a great layout and fun course, lots of elevation changes and interesting holes. Right now the greens are recovering from a sanding so be patient.
No Greens
When I saw maintenance being done a couple of months ago, I thought the greens would be in good condition by now. Wrong. I have no idea what’s happening with the greens but there is no grass on them. Whoever is carrying for the course and greens seems to have Forgot that if you don’t plant grass, it will not grow. It looks like the other maintenance has taken a backseat as well. I’ll have to take a pass on this one till It get better.
Del-Sandbox Club
Embarrassment! This course was not worth my hard earned cash! They call this place the Deltona Club… more like The Del-sandbox. I could not tell the difference between the greens and bunkers. Good luck trying to hold a green cause that thang flying once it releases. I wouldn’t play this course again if they paid me $40 bucks (our green fee, which I can’t even call it a green fee because the greens were a sandbox).
Great layout with elevation changes
Enjoyed our day at Deltona Club. Friendly welcome and allowed to start early. Greens could be in better shape but understandable given lack of rain. Really enjoyed the layout which has some excellent holes but main feature has to be the continual changes in elevation which makes this a real pleasant change from the flat Orlando courses.
Good bones, Needs TLC
This course has the makings of being a very good golf course. That said, it is not well maintained. Tees and fairways are well maintained and the bunkers aren't great either, although sand is a major feature and provides some great looks. It is a very good layout. Given we only paid $31 and were able to finish in 3 hours, it was still a worthwhile experience.
Deltona Club
Layout is challenging. Sand is everywhere. The greens were just sanded or something there was green sand spread over the greens, they were very fast. Despite the greens being in rough shape had a fun round and putted fairly well. Fairways were decent, teeboxes could use some tlc but playable.
+ staff is nice and helpful
+ course has a challenging layout
+ its sorta off the beaten path for a central fl course it wasnt very busy at all
- there is minimal signage on the course/teeboxes for which hole you are on or where the cart path is
+ lady in the kitchen was super nice
course could use a lil sprucing up
Wet after rain making conditions worse
The greens are heavily sanded and, because of recent rain, the sand accumulated in"ribs" on the greens making them unplayable. Another issue is the 3 fivesomes we ran into on the course.
Deltona team - note that a course that allows fivesomes to play in peak season on a weekend - I feel you don't appreciate your other customers. It appears that it is condoned as one of the 5somes was on the first tee.
Fivesomes will kill a course. Not sure that's what you want.
