Really nice course in the Destin area.
Great course kept in great shape. Look forward to playing again.
Very nice playable course with good pace of play
Enjoyed the layout as it was a fair challenge throughout the fairways and greens without being “tricked up”. Fairways and greens in very good shape despite no rain in 2 months. Carts quiet and peppy. Even with players on each hole finished in under 4 hours. Greeted in parking lot by friendly person to give me a cart, and also had someone follow me out to car after the round. Did not order food from kitchen but good menu available. Beverage cart stocked w adult beverages, Powerade and snacks. Would definitely return
Course has excellent greens
I’ve played the course many times, greens are always consistent and well kept. Course is always in good condition and I enjoy the layout. Staff is always friendly and the cart girls come around multiple times during the round. Great course for price and condition.
Nice Hidden Gem
Course was well maintained & in great shape for the lack of rain they've had here. Some of the other courses in the area are charging top dollar and not even watering or cutting their courses, so it was well worth the money to play here. Very friendly & helpful staff as well. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
Good layout and the course was in great shape. I really enjoyed my round.
Best course for your $$
Indian Bayou is the best course in Destin for the money. Always in good condition and very friendly staff.
Fantastic Layout and Conditions!
First time playing the course, it was a quiet Wednesday and was able to play in less than 3 hours. Layout is gorgeous, beautiful shaping with tall pines, some well placed ponds, and bunkering. Helps to shape the ball off the tee, as a fair amount of doglegs. Greens were in great shape rolling around 10. Staff was very friendly. I’ve been coming to the panhandle for 7 years and this is the best course I’ve played, will definitely be back!
Best in Destin
A must play in Destin Florida.
Cons 0. Pros ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Great Course and Greens
Course is always worth a play. Greens are excellent. Stay in the short grass and you can score, if not you will add strokes. Staff is awesome
Could not have been better!...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the time you drive into the Club ...cart is there at your vehicle...till your clubs are loaded to leave ..Excellent!
Excellent Staff...Facilities...practice range and balls...course condition, greens manicured and even the
Weather was FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY ...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice Track with exceptional staff
I'll start with the positives in that the staff not only inside the clubhouse, but outside around the parking lot and range, do a fantastic job in trying to accommodate your every request. This speaks well of management, as you can tell that they actually spend some time training the people they hire to have some customer service skills.
The golf course conditions were good, and the greens are probably fast enough for just about any player's tastes.
The layout itself was tight and decent, and probably wouldn't get boring if I played this on a regular basis.
The biggest negative I can take away from Indian Bayou were the homeowners who live adjacent to the 9th fairway. Look, I get it, as I used to live on a golf course and we had parties all the time out back in our pool, and made all sorts of noise, but these Auburn fans went out of their way to make enough noise that anyone could hear them a half a mile away. They made playing the 9th hole borderline impossible as you could not even guess when their next eruption of noise would take place, probably during your backswing. Heck, I even heard these imbeciles on the driving range, which was 3 holes over.
But again, obnoxiously drunk homeowners who only embarrass themselves with their shameless behavior is nothing the folks at Indian Bayou can fix, short of putting up a privacy wall against this homeowners property.
I guess in the bigger picture of things, if you don't want to be distracted by homes that surround a golf course, this might not be the place to play, as the entire course is lined with them. It is what it is.
Course was in great shape.Good bang for the buck.Greens were top dressed but still rolled great.
Really great course- treated very nice by the starter and bag loader-pro shop in checking in was lukewarm at best
Overall very pleased!!!
I like this course in the « wood »
Nice, well maintened, practice balls ...
staff very nice
I ll be back !
Course is in good shape. Green were on the quicker side. Older school layout with smallish greens, but in good shape with many tee for a challenge to all.
