pure link's, great value
Great course, great location, great price.
if you want a genuine links course, then this is a pure gem. Situated beside its more famous neighbours for a fraction of the price.
Cor blimey
Fantastic golf course. the noisy neighbor to the Island.
Highly recommend this Corballis. One round and you'll be hooked.
Some nice holes but.......
Too many blind shots and too many short pars threes ....
Corballis
The course played exceptionally well and is in good condition , it's a very tough test which demands course Managment and shot selection , as with most links keeping the ball in play is crucial , plagues on each tee box give instructions as to how to play the hole which I found very helpfull , if u play this beauty of a links the course with respect you will touroughly enjoy the challange if your wild off the tee you will struggle all day and lose all your golf balls , definately worth the challange to all levels of golfer
Great Course for the Money
Had a great time, only downside was the rain that cut the lost few holes short for me but thats what I get for playing in November. Course is short overall but many narrow fairways, heavy coastal winds and deep links style rough will make any out of place shot very punishing. Clubhouse and first hole is not note-worhty but once you get out on the course it is beautiful.
Brilliant links
Even though it's a par 65 this course will test every aspect of your game. The selection of tee shots is great. You must position your ball around the course and it's such a welcome change rather than the new modern grip it and rip it designs. We played it after a day of torrential rain and the course was bone dry and in brilliant condition. The greens were much better than portmarnock links course which we had played the previous week. And brilliant value for money at 18 euros. One of my favorite courses in Dublin.
Somethings never change
Haven't played Corballis in a few years , the golf course as the title suggests it's still a great course the addition of the three new holes have actually made it better. The greens, as always are immaculately maintained, run pretty fast and true. The addition of strokesaver map/sign and distance markers to middle of the greens at every hole is a great help to those players not entirely familiar with the course. Simply put Corballis is a great course offering a good challenge at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately the unfriendly and rude clubhouse staff member we encountered who has been employed here for a number of years is still there. Somethings never change
enjoyable but tough little links
Super little links , very tight, so you need to be straight, very enjoyable........
All year round course
As usual, course in excellent condition and great value for money. Play moves at a good pace. Some challenging holes.
What a gem
One of the best links in Ireland and what value other courses take note !!!!!
excellent course, challenging but great value in current economic climate
excellent course. weather was great great value for money but corbaliss is a challenging course
Excellent value as an introduction to links golf
Course is an old style links with 14 very good links style holes. It was originally an 9 hole course stretched to 18. Four of the holes are really add ons and do not measure to rest of the holes. As we are having a heat wave the course was very burnt with little or no greenery on fairways. There was a strong wind blowing which made ball control difficult. Ball ran a long way and invariably finished in the rough which was quite penal. Not many playing so round was quite fast despite a few stops to look for your ball. To get a taste of links this is a good test, but would wait till rains come before playing again. Club House basic with good stock of golf gear and snacks available.
Great value Links course
Played Corballis again for the first time in a while, I'd forgot how challenging it can be!! Although there aren't many long holes, it's very tough, any wayward shots and it's goodbye golf balls. The course was in great condition and great value, you can play 18 for little as 10 euro on weekends! The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because there are some weak holes, notably the 15th,16th
challenging and tough
Course was in grest shape it was very challenging. Greens wete b ery good over all in great shspe.it was great value for money and they give time between tee times so there are no back ups.
Not to be missed.
Wonderful little Links in great condition. Greens are excellent and a credit to the course staff.
A must for all golfers
Course is at its best I have seen in long time challenging but well worth every penny each hole is different
Well maintained
Very tight challenging course, The course is well manicured and the greens are superb and as an added bonus you have the scenery
