Well kept and challenging
If you can keep the ball straight off the tee you will give yourself potential birdie opportunitys. However, a poor tee shot can result in you having to waste a shot with a simple pitch out from dense trees.
Great course would highly recommend.
Greens in great condition, a good mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s
Very good challenge and good variety of holes
We enjoyed the golf course but a little bit slow would play there again
Edmonstown
Excellent course, good test of the white tees, greens excellent but a little slow for me I'm just used to faster greens so not really a valid complaint in fact, very hard to complain about anything.
Go and enjoy.
excellent challenging and well maintained course
Second time to play at edmonstown and enjoyed the round again. Some challenging holes and rough is quite long. The only downfall is that it's short in places but this is not a major issue. Will play again
Good value course in Dublin
Hi, played this course on Sat 1st Feb with a friend, the weather was terrible (gales, sleet, rain), and as such we had to walk off after 5 holes. I contacted the golf club and they have rescheduled another round for free which is very good of them.
I've played this course several times, and always found it to be in great condition, greens are true, fairways tree lined, so need to be straight off the tee!. Definitely worth playing. Handy location also, just off M50 motorway in south dublin
A great place to play golf
Love playing here, the course is always in top condition and all the staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Great condition, very fast greens made holding putts tricky. Great course.
From tee box to green, the attention given to the up keep of the course is second to none. Fast greens made scoring tricky, and clever pin positions forces the player to really pick their spots. Great round of golf.
Great Course
I have played Edmondstown a few times over the years, always in good condition & a good test of golf.
Fantastic Course
We played here on Friday 19th and it had been raining solidly the previous 2 days. The course was in fantastic condition with only one or 2 wet spots. The fairways were in excellent condition. The greens were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our round. Tough enough course but also a bit forgiving in places.
If i ever see a deal here again I will book straight away!
An unexpected pleasure
Booked this course on a weekend where the usual places I play were all booked out, so it was my first time here. I was pleasantly surprised with the course itself, which you have to think your way around. Driver is not always the best option.
The greens were fast, pristine and difficult, so what it lacks in length it makes up in 3-putts!
The overall condition was very impressive, the fairways and tee-boxes and greens are very well maintained. Did not lose a ball all day as the rough is not too bad and the cut grass is collected.
Front nine is very good, a real pleasure to play especially the stretch around the river/stream. The back nine is a bit weaker with a couple of exceptions. A water hazard or two or something to liven up the back 9 would make this a really exceptional course, especially given its privileged position inside the m-50 in the heart of the suburbs of south Dublin.
No complaints, we got out before a society and got round very quickly with nobody ahead or behind so it was a rare pleasure!
