High Class Back 9

The Rosebud CC North course while overshadowed by its Mornington Peninsula Neighbours is well worth a drive down from Melbourne.

The North course has been redesigned by OCM and it shows, especially on the back 9 where their style of Sandy bunkers and waste areas blending into fairways and heath is prominent. It’s a particularly nice piece of land with frequent undulations and elevation changes that the golfer needs to navigate.

My favourite hole was the par 4 12th that features that real OCM look to it. It features bunkering down the left and a tricky green that runs severely off to the right.

The final seven holes are very challenging and have a look to them that puts them in the class of any of the good golf holes in Victoria.

Excellent practice facility with huge putting green (Almost Victoria GC in size) nice chipping area and full driving range with a nicely treed back drop.

Club house was large and the food looked delicious.
