A Pleasant Mornington Peninsula Track

The Rosebud country club doesn’t get as much publicity as it’s more noted competition down the road - The Dunes, Moonah Links and St Andrews Beach. With a recent redevelopment by OCM, it is certainly worth playing, but it is not quite in the same class as those courses. The South course though is inferior to the North.

In many ways the South course bridges the gap between the country courses such as Devil Bend and Lang Lang, and the Peninsula courses mentioned above. There are the typical gum lined fairways but more traditional coastal bunkering and undulating fairways more common to the area. The South course doesn’t seem to have as many of the OCM touches, and it seems to be a straight away golf course. The greens though are excellent.

$88 AUD to play on a weekday was a little steep though, especially considering for $94 you can play St Andrews Beach.
Excellent practice facility with huge putting green (Almost Victoria GC in size) nice chipping area and full driving range with a nicely treed back drop.

Club house was large and the food looked delicious.
