Length 6148 yards
Slope 125
Rating 69.0

The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on fifteen of the 18 holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

This course needs serious maintenance

This course needs serious maintenance. Several greens were bare. Tee boxes were bare and lumpy. The greens were choppy.

Relaxed course

Are you a PGA pro or wannabe pro??? Great. This course isn’t for you.

If you are an average joe who likes to drink beer and rip a few right down the pipe then this course is for you. Staff is super friendly and inviting. Course isn’t perfect, but if you are good enough to complain about course conditions then you should be good enough to miss the bad spots.

This was my first time at this course and I loved it. I’ll be coming back. If they fixed the major dead spots on the green that would be a plus but not required.

Course in very poor condition

Several greens are in very bad condition; several tees are rounded like a turtle back; the bunkers are in poor condition; the concrete cart paths in several places are cracked and broken and sunken or heaved up; I have played this course for 10 years but now it is so bad I will not play it again until it is improved greatly

Poor conditions

Greens are rough and patchy at best. Tee boxes are very uneven and unkempt. Fairways are bare/dry. Not worth the money or the time. However the staff was pleasant.

Seascape

Seascape was OK. But most of the greens need work. We have played this course many times because it is close by and not usually very busy.
In general it needs a complete overhaul.

Cart guy is a bully

Was in Destin for Spring break with some friends and went out for some golf around 4 pm. The cart guy told us to get back before dark. We finished our 18 holes and and pulled in as the sun set. Cart guy asked us where we were from and said we better leave something for him in the cart, a tip, because he “could’ve left an hour ago”. He then proceeded to tell us that we “needed to get some of mommy and daddy’s money” to pay him. He then asked for our names and told us we weren’t allowed back. It’s not like we were going to go back to the course again anyway, the condition of the course was terrible, and the overall facility didn’t seem very well maintained. It was cheap and for good reason. We’ll be taking our business elsewhere cart guy, thanks. #cartguyisasimp

Course conditions

Greens are very good and fast, tee boxes are rough and some are hard, crowned in need of mowing. Cart paths are mostly in good shape, fairways are firm and sparse grass. Staff is very friendly the carts are new with GPS . Challenging and fun course for $35.

SeaScape

I really like the layout of the course and how different each hole is. It is a challenging course. I wish the maintenance of the course was better. Some greens were nice and others were almost unplayable because they were in such poor conditions - large sections covered in sand. Course has so much potential but upkeep must be improved.

Nice course

Greens have winter damage. Fairways will be better when the grass starts growing. Some interesting 90 degree doglegs. Glad I brought lots of golf balls.

Goat ranch

Not worth $50+ green fee. $25 tops. Do your self a favor and pay same rate for emeral bay, Sandestin or plantation. This was a goat ranch.

Good value!

Seascape offers a challenging layout with many water holes and doglegs. Most fairways are wide and accommodating, but a few require shot making skills. Water comes into play on many holes, especially around the green. Many bunkers are deep and require a full swing to get out. The course still needs some TLC, but all in all a good value for a resort course!

Slow play

They really need a course Marshall. We only played 13 holes. Everything backed up. Also our cart died on us an we had to make a trip back to the club house. Slow play...not fun. Three groups on one hole. Also 4 guys ahead of us sharing clubs.

Challenging layout.

Nice course with lots of water and doglegs. Accuracy is a must!
Unfortunately the course is ‘tired’. Bridge coverings are well worn and entry and exits are uneven. The concrete cart paths are cracked and in need of attention. More signage at road crossings is recommended.
As we had an early start in cool weather, we had a quick round on a quality GPS golf cart.
More positives than negatives.
