Great condition for winter golf
Course was in great condition for mid February. Nice layout, but somewhat boring.
Great course
Pace supply is always awesome here last week. We played in three hours and 10 minutes this week. It was three hours and 50 minutes. Very nice course people are nice great day.
First time
Hadn’t played in about 6 months. Found the course setup to be appealing to a first time player. Bermuda was dormant so not fair to rate the condition of the fairways. Bunkers and greens were in good shape. Pace of play on a busy day was 4 hours. Would definitely try it again
Indian Bayou Golf
Nice course and in pretty good shape even with winter conditions. Greens were fairly fast and interesting. Will play again if I get Golf Now rates.
Indian Bayou Review
2 star for amenities because we showed up an hour early to warm up on the driving range as we have not played since last fall and it was closed. Larger practice facilities for members only so all we had was a putting green to putt on. Not use to paying 100 for not green golf courses as I do not think they are watering or a lot these days so very dry and some of the greens were in rough shape
What happened to Indian Bayou?
I’ve golfed at Indian Bayou previous years. It was usually very good. This year it was horrible. The fairways were brown and hard. The greens were fairly good. Definitely not worth the $104.00 green fee!
Indian Bayou Golf Course
This golf course (Indian Bayou) was not worth the $104.00 I paid. The fairways were brown, dry and hard. Nothing like last year. Was quite disappointed.
Don’t Play in Dormant Season
The course was nice but there was little green grass. Since we came down from the cold north we were looking forward to playing but did not realize how limiting it would feel to play with dormant grass. With the ground so hard it made it difficult to chip. We finished playing at 2:30 and even though the kitchen was supposed to stay open until 3:00 the kitchen was already closed but they did give free pretzels.
Indian Bayou golf
Very nice course. It was winter so the fairway grass was a bit burned out but playable. The greens were challenging as they were fast and undulating. We had a great golfing experience and the discount we got via Golf Now made this good value for the money. Would golf again for the same discount. Given the conditions and time of year I do not think the regular green fees would be worth it especially if you are a husband and wife.
Indian Bayou
Nice course but tight fairway lies due to dormant grass. No fault of the course maintenance staff just mother nature for this time of the year. Nice course layout and would definitely play again and would recommend others to play.
