Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club
Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club in Dover, Florida stretches over rolling hills where there is no shortage of water. Dry greens are never a concern as water hazards come into play frequently throughout the golf course. The greens vary in speed from medium to fast and the fairways are lined with towering trees. In addition to the water, there are also numerous bunkers that are strategically placed throughout. The golf course has some challenging par 3s, especially if it is a windy day. With several holes playing over water and a few houses close to the golf course, well placed tee shots are essential to scoring well at Diamond Hill.

WEED CONTROL PLEASE!!!
This course has an interesting layout... but fairways feel more like rough, and overrun by weeds in many sections.
This course is a mess of weeds.
Save your Money
Course has a fun layout, but you simply cant enjoy it as the rangers do not enforce the pace of play. Waiting 10 minutes on every tee box, and then another 10 on the fairway to hit your second shot is ridicolous. We waited 30 minutes on hole 6 because there were 4 groups backed up. This is inexcusable, a golf course ran the right way will keep golfers moving. We tee'd off at 1115am, and did not get off the course until 445pm. Save your money and play a different course where they respect the game, this place appears to cater to the average 70 year old , and lets them run the place.
Have not played here for a year. Course continues to improve. Much nicer turf, greens are true and lush. Mostly good lies. Pace was slow but overall a positive experience. Will be back
Love this course . Great Fun.
We had a great day playing here. Each hole was a different layout and challenge. The par 3's and %'s were beautiful holes to play. We played as a scramble format team and finished 3 under.
We will be back. :)
Slow Play, Rude Staff, Crappy Residents
Showed up for an 11am tee time. There were three other groups waiting. While we’re in line (by this time it’s 1125), the Marshall makes my twosome back up and lets a foursome in front of us. Spent the next ~3 hours on the front 9 waiting on that group. Didn’t even finish the round, left after just under 6 hours.
Friend hit a ball near a house and got screamed at by a resident when she tried to go get it. It wasn’t even in her yard!
Asked the staff about the above issue - he told me to “just remember that you got to play golf today” -yeah I’ll remember not to come back. Thanks.
Another great visit, from the help with the bags and carts to the check in gal...
All friendly, helpful and indeed sincere. Sorry that GPS wasn't in carts this time, neat feature that was missed. Greens were fast although the pins were alittle too difficult for us today. Will be back soon.!
The course may have been the best I’ve ever seen it since playing there occasionally from 2002 until now. I’ve been a few times when it was horrid, and most of the time it’s average to above average, but today it was practically pristine. There’s some weedy sections along the fairways, but the greens make even some of the local exclusive courses look average. I’m always baffled when folks don’t repair the ball marks on greens that nice, it’s like they can’t appreciate nice things (ugh). I hope whoever is in charge of the course upkeep, will continue to do an outstanding job, and that he’ll get a bonus so he stays around in the future! This course is a unique gem in our region, and I’ll be playing a lot more if the place stays this nice.
I've always enjoyed the course layout, the holes are unique and not cookie cutter, also they don't often run parallel. The greens are running high on the meter compared to my last visit, which was a nice surprise. Also the course has much improved with the tee boxes and fairways. Brand new carts with GPS at a muni course will have my group visiting more often, cudos to whomever saw fit to makes changes to the course. I say it's a must play for first timers, right now you won't be disappointed.
Great day golfing
Got the family on the course and it was a wonderful day too. Course was impeccable
We played in the afternoon round starting about around 5 it started coming out pulling all the flags so we had no flags then the ranger around 5:30 rust us off the course all we had was hundred yards in on the 18th and he made us leave at 5:30 very disappointed. First time I'd ever been rushed off of course like that
My last revue for this course,I wrote a good revue, but I complained it was to long of a course for seniors, but today it seemed that they put the golds closer to the reds, and I was able to handle the shorter distances. I was on in regulation on most holes,Par 5's still a little long for us,but overall a wonderful round.
Course looks good greens rolling ture and fast no issues with anything had a good time will play again soon
nice course, lot of doglegs holes, interesting
play this course, once a week or so, like it, nice people
