Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club
About
Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club in Dover, Florida stretches over rolling hills where there is no shortage of water. Dry greens are never a concern as water hazards come into play frequently throughout the golf course. The greens vary in speed from medium to fast and the fairways are lined with towering trees. In addition to the water, there are also numerous bunkers that are strategically placed throughout. The golf course has some challenging par 3s, especially if it is a windy day. With several holes playing over water and a few houses close to the golf course, well placed tee shots are essential to scoring well at Diamond Hill.

The course has some good holes.
It’s a nice course for the price but it needs some work on the fairway s.
Nice place to play for fun
It’s fairly wide open and not in great shape, especially one hole. Greens are fast and roll well except the one hole mentioned already. Has several interesting holes and a variety of tees. It’s a good value, and I like it more the more times I play it.
Diamond hill is truly the “diamond in the rough”
Had my first experience at diamond hill with a co-worker. Played 18 holes and I was really impressed with the layout, pace of play, and friendliness of staff. I could not believe length of the nine hole. Wow! For a beginner like me the course was indeed a challenge, but I know diamond hill will be my home course from now on. The whole staff were very accommodating. They answered any and all questions I had about the history, and layout of the course and club. I’d definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Seriously consider becoming a member here. You won’t regret it!
Excellent layout
Always enjoy playing Diamond Hills as it gives you a great variety of holes.
The course has some challenges
The play on this course was very slow. Had a foursome that backed up 5 groups on 3 holes. Had a couple of holes we waited 10 minutes to hit our next shot. Never been a big fan of looking for a ball when you hit it several yards out of play as the foursome was doing to back the play up. Little disappointed to see a group of 8 tee off the 18th hole as we made our way to the 13th tee box. Course needs a ranger to be on the course to speed up play. Overall I liked the layout of the course.
Course was in good shape , I really enjoyed and needed the wide fairways. We got slowed down a couple of times on the back nine but was a good day overall
Slow Play
I think all this course cares about is making money and how many people they can cram in at one time. The course is in bad shape bunkers as well as fairways greens are pretty decent. Bad part is it's close to my but I will not play again.
