Not as easy as it looks.
A short executive course with challenging holes, it deserves a slope index higher than it has been awarded.
I will definately play this again.
Tight interesting course.
Challenging test of golf even though par 60. Only hole with severe problem, number 10 off back tee, carry of 220 yards over water!!
Loved it. Will certainly play it again.
Interesting executive course
Oyster Creek is a nice and interesting executive course. Mainly par threes but with a few interesting and sometimes challenging par fours for those of us who are not Tiger or Daly class.
Personally I like this course cause it's like when you shoot pool, you have to think before you hit the ball, not just hammer away.
If the wind is right and you keep that freaking club head straight you will par this course no doubt. If not, well ... - we've all had days like that. Pay for another round and go again, Oyster Creek is definitely worth another 18 any day of the week.
Challenging executive course
Fun fun. Nicely maintained. Friendly staff. Would definitely play there again.
Great landscape. Perfect for a nice golf round
Staff very friendly. I like the surroundings. Everthing very clean and well maintained. The holes are perfect to train the short play
A great value.
The greens were being aerated so they were a bit rough, but other than that it was a great value. I think it's the nicest executive course in the area. An interesting par 60 layout. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman and were able to tee off ahead of our scheduled time.
Good for a small course
Pricey for a par 60 course. Good shape though. Excellent staff.
tight, good greens, worth trying while in Englewood.
Check golfnow for super deals. Price to play $25. Agood deal.
Fun executive course which challenges your short game..
Enjoyed playing this little course. Executive style with mostly par threes and a few par fours. Found the course conditions to be good and the pace of play was very good on the day we played. A windy day enhances the challenges of this course. All in all an enjoyable place to play.
nice course for an afternoon outing
Have played Oyster Creek beore and it never fails to astound me. Course was in great shape. Greens were awsome,as was the staff. If you have a chance play this course,do it. You'll be glad you did!!
tees and greens are in very good shape especially with the dry weather
The tees and greens are in good shape considering the dry conditions this time of year.
Very good par 60
Enjoyed playing this course. Nice par 60 with good layout, no gimmes from blue tees.
challenging executive course
Course is well maintained and personnel are very friendly. Course is challenging. Will be sure to play here more often
Very enjoyable and scenic course
The staff was easy to work with and friendly and they put us with two ladies to complete our foursome. We had a great time and enjoyed the course and the scenery.
Enjoyable.
Course is more challenging than you might think from the back tees. Enjoyable.
This course is very boring, Holes are to similar.
Since this is an executive course, some of the holes do not give a good golfer much of a challenge. This is the second time we played the course, and we will most likely not go back.
An executive course with a variety of wildlife and hazard challenges
This is an executive course with a variety of wildlife. This is a great course for the causal golfer with the ability to aim accurately. The course is surrounded by a small housing community, and every hole has a water hazard, or an area where the woods are directly adjacent to the fairway. If you sacrifice distance for accuracy, you're round will go well.
Realy enjoyed
A Christmas gift to myself. Greens were excellent and I shot a 5 over 65 on this 3,700 yd executive course. I finished in 2the hours. I will return to the course again soon.
Great course & staff
I have played this course many times in the past 6 years. I have always found it to be in excellent condition and the staff very pleasant.
slow pace of play
Went there Nov 24th 2 people, needed to work on my short game. Went to the first hole no one there. After that we waited after every hole. twosome in front took forever to play par 3's which you should play between 5 to 7 mins. Went to the back and the twosome stopped at the clubhouse, so we went right to ten.Teed of and then there was a threesome that was even bad. Took several mins. just to get to the green. The 11th hole we watched as the threesome took EIGHT SHOTS just to reach a par 3. We left and decided to play the front again. Got to the first and there was a little girls and her parents just teed of and the little girl looked like she never picked up a golf club before. She was tearing up the fairway to no end. We decided to leave and Ill never go back.
