The course at Ranches Golf Club has a Western theme, as does the entire club. The course's linksland feel is due to the native prairie landscape that it plays through. Located just south of Salt Lake City in the valley between Lehi and Eagle Mountain, the course offers beautiful views from every point on the course in nearly every direction. The golf course is quite spacious stretching out over 220 acres of land. There are four sets of tee boxes to accommodate different skill levels. Ranches Golf Club also has impressive practice facilities including a natural grass driving range and a large practice putting green.

great layout

So glad we played the ranches. Still brown from winter but great to play. Lots of elevation changes, greens rolled great and bunkers were good to play out of. #9 and 18 are great up hill challenges. Views are spectacular of the mountains.

Great Value

This is a great course for the money. Fairways could be maintained a little bit better but pretty good over all. Excellent variety of holes and a good amount of hazards. Definitely recommended.

No one in sight, yet still slow

Every time I play this course, there is never anyone there. However, I always manage to get stuck behind people that make it frustratingly slow. This round of 18 took 5 1/2 hours. With that being said, the course is always in good condition and it's challenging enough to make it fun.

Straight Drives

Driving the ball off of each tee is critical, especially here at the Ranches. Missing the fairway will cost you a lost ball or a difficult second shot. Greens roll out very nice. The speed of the green is very quick. It is very important to be on the right side of the hole when putting. Greens break more then expected. I love the course because of the great challenge. My handicap is 2.7 right now. I have to play really good to score in my handicap range.

Beautiful, Challenging Course

Great course in an even better location. Just West of Lehi and Saratoga Springs, you're surrounded by hills and homes. Clubhouse sits atop a hill which provide beautiful views of the course and homes. Pace of play was great and the value can't be beat.

Great Price for a Good Course

Course is in good shape, with greens on the faster side. Worth the drive out to west of Utah Lake.

Golf luv

This is a "Target" golf course . You have to choose the right club to play well. Greens were in bad shape but October is tough to keep them good all season. But still expected them to be in better shape. Lots of wind but overall the course is okay.
