Exactly what you’d expect
Overall, the course is exactly what you’d expect for the price and it would be unfair to expect more at that great value. Very friendly staff. Tee boxes are pretty loosely defined, greens were not in great shape (it is early in the season), cart paths are all-terrain. The driving range was portable mats placed on the sidewalk, but I believe you can hit off the grass later in the season. Fun course to learn or get a quick round in; it’s a 9-hole executive course so you’d have to double up for a full 18.
I don’t think it’s reflective of the course most days, but when we played it was so windy (40mph gusts, probably 20mph sustained winds) that we cut our day short.

Dead greens
Greens were dead. You were putting on dirt and sand. Course was in bad shape.

Nice cheap course
For $16 you can play through the 9-hole course twice. Friendly pro shop. Course has a few challenges that will test any golfer. Pace of play was great, we finished 9-holes in an hour and a half.
Fun little course!
Stoney Creek was a fun short course but the winter conditions have not been kind to the greens. A few greens, especially #7, were a little beat up but still playable. I think the price for 9 could also be a little lower. Still had a good time and will be back!
Needs to be changed.
Booked a tee time, the place was closed, even though it allowed me to book it and it said they were open on their website.

We are so sorry, we did have a miscommunication on our side and failed to block off the tee sheet yesterday like we norimally would on a day when we cannont open. Many apologies!
Hello, osmulskj. Thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry to hear your experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you will give us another try in the future. Thank you for choosing Stoney Creek Golf Course.
Course is a great executive 9
Course is a great executive 9 that is a great layout for working on your irons and approach shots. Although tempting to drive the first green, don't do it. Better to lay up to a good yardage for your approach shot. Greens were rough and damaged from earlier issues in the year. Overall, a good course to tune your iron game.
Below expectations
Overall course was easy. Pace of play is super slow. They let kids that definitely aren't old enough to drive themselves to the course play unattended and drive carts with poor etiquette. But the worst part is that they don't have a single water jug on the course which is borderline criminal for any course that has a lot of walkers.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the teams in charge so they can work to make changes.
Your feedback helps us do better. We are looking into this issue and hope to resolve it promptly.

Great for new players
I’ve only played for about 2 years and have been here I think 3-4 times. It’s a great course to practice your craft and still have a good time.

Beginners Welcome
This is a great place for those just starting out. Greens are a bit rough at the moment, but predictable. 3-4 and 5 get a bit jumbled when it's a busy day. A great par 3 course with a few opportunities to use a driver.
Great round!
Played 18, and only have complaints about the green conditions. Everything else was great, and staff was friendly.
Need some "me" time!
Great as always as a 2 or solo. They are great at Stoney Creek and always helpful. Thank you for this time and place. We all need some quiet time and the bulls aren't talking.
Quaint course
Tucked away in the countryside outside of the city, this course is fun to play. A very walkable course with a few tricks to keep in mind, Stoney Creek is well worth the effort to get there to work on your short game without the pressure of bigger courses.
A couple of the greens were a tad beaten up, but otherwise the course was in good shape.
H! Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at Stoney Creek Golf Course!
