Unreal setting

Went as a guest. I have played this course a number of times through connections, and it is one of my favorite courses I have ever played, and I've played a lot of the heavy hitters (Pebble, Whistling, Old Course, Sawgrass....etc). The 2 things that set it apart are 1. The setting. It's unbelievable. The views are forever, and you're just out there all alone, in your little slice of heaven. I could hear myself breathe it was so peaceful, and the mountain rages are awe inspiring. 2. The 2 nines. It's almost like playing 2 different courses, which makes it that much more memorable. The front 9 is up in the high alpine and almost has a links feel along with these huge views and elevation changes you get from traditional mountain golf. But then the back 9 follows Brush Creek and much of it is tree-lined so you get this parkland target golf setting but you're still surrounded by mountains. It's amazing.
