A great course
Fantastic course….some lovely holes, great condition and some superb views.
Was a solo player so naturally caught up with a few pairs/groups but was called through every time so pace of play was great.
Tee’d off after 4pm so had a decent rate.
Played another ‘top rated’ local course the following day and it wasn’t a patch on Conwy. Conwy has to be the best in the area by far and one of the most enjoyable courses I’ve played in the UK.
The only thing I would be picky on if I had to is that a couple of the last few holes (16th & 17th) felt like they lacked a bit of imagination…..but I think that maybe due to being spoilt with some great holes all from 1st to 15th.
Would love to play there again.
Lovely course would definitely recommend and the breakfast was probably the best ive had
Exceptional Course
As with most links, its in great condition with no wet or boggy areas.
Greens are in excellent condition!
Started fairly easy and as the wind got up became very challenging. That said - its a great golf course and a real nice club house with a well stocked pro-shop.
Would recommend.
Great course.
Really enjoyed Conwy gc in nearly perfect weather, probably much different in the wind.
Course in very good condition but not a course for beginners, it will test your game, some very tight tee shots and punishing rough but still great to play, all the staff v friendly and welcoming.
Some fantastic views.
Conwy golf club
Fantsatic course in great condition for this time of year. Terrific views along the coast. Some tight fairways on last few holes, not for the faint hearted.
Fantastic Links Golf
First time playing at Conwy and it was a joy. Fantastic course in excellent condition. Can’t wait to play again
A fun stroll...
Full disclosure: Played here directly off a plane from the States with no sleep.
Although I was hitting it sideways it didn't hamper my enjoyment of the place, although OB right off the first tee was just a wee bit intimidating.
Many memorable holes at Conwy, especially the closing stretch. My partner and I were 5 down late in the match but were able to get it to the 18th tee. That felt like a victory in itself.
Loved the par 3s.
The closing stretch is worth the wait
Many of the inland par 4s begin to feel the same – save for the long seventh hole, which offers dramatic views from an elevated tee and near the punchbowl green – but the par 3s here are a real treat. If you’re playing a match, as we were, the last six holes offer plenty of drama – a couple of short par 4s, a reachable par 5, a brutally difficult 17th and an easy home hole, if you find the fairway. It was the perfect course to play off the plane at the beginning of our Wales adventure.
