The Links At Union Vale

The Links at UnionVale is a fabulous course for an avid or weekend golfer. This is a Links style course, always in great condition, and very challenging. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The pub is friendly and has great food. Highly recommended!

A public course with a country club feeling. Challenging holes that are each different.

It was our first time playing at the Links. We played with friends, 4 of us. It’s a challenging course with a lot of sand trap and many holes where you don’t really see where you go but there are markers and that’s very helpful. The course is really well maintained.
We will be back for sure.

Love this course! Great layout, lots of different types of holes, lots of different challenges, plenty of risk/reward decisions and creative shotmaking opportunities. Decent warm-up area, and nice bar/restaurant. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Play can be slow on weekends. Somehow, it always seems to rain on the 12th hole, and then clear up.

Even though the course had been recently aerated it was still in great shape.

This place is awesome. Not my first time playing it, and I try to get back here at least once a year. Always in fantastic condition. Greens are fast and roll extremely true and smooth. Awesome locker room where I was able to take a shower after the round (It was about 95 degrees out when I played.) Absolutely amazing to not have to drive an hour in stinky sweaty clothes and smelling like the worst BO I've ever had.

I have only one complaint and it's something I've never experienced before when playing the Links. The bunkers.... They are in fantastic condition, but I couldn't go in a few of them because there were swarms of bees in them. We had great time and enjoyed the great pace of play for NY standard. Still finished in 4:40 though. As the foursome in front of us (twosome) was a little slower and then had someone slow in front of them. Would have been nice if they let us pass though so we could have finished under 4h.

Wonderful course lay out and great organization, they do care about pace of play to ensure everyone has a great time. Signs are guiding to estimate how much time has passed at different stage of play.

The driving range and practice area are really great and worth spending some time at.

The clubhouse with Irish food is worth it too.

We loved it and will come back. I wish all club in NY would be as well organized and maintained as this club. Kudos to the Irishmen! :-)

Beautiful course! Great condition, fast greens. Friendly staff, a must play!!!

The course was in great shape. The geens were fast but true. The only problem I had was the course did not have my reservation. After showing them my confirmation they called golf now to confirm.

Course played awesome. Well maintained. Greens roll true.

No hackers here. Pace of play was excellent.

The Links is an outstanding course, particularly if you enjoy links style golf. The course is in great shape, the holes are in great variety, and the staff and facilities are first rate.
