About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Terrible pace of play, I dont care how good the course is. For $90 during the week I should not be 3 hours 45 mins of pace thru 12 holes.... We left after that because it was so terribly bad. Dont play this course, save yourself the money and headache. Conditions and greens are solid but the pace of play was an absolute joke. The reviews here are buffed up from old guys that make the pace of play the way it is. If anyone at willow creek sees this I want my money back or to be reimbursed because this was truly the worst pace of play our group has ever seen.

Course was nice. Good amenities but everything was closed. The tee boxes had no markers. And there were two holes in the green.
I like to play from a certain tee marker and nothing was marked.
100 dollars for the winter I expect a little more
That being said. Conditions were great. Layout is really nice
No starter. And range was closed. I wish to play this course again in the summer

What people were playing golf this days.
Chilly days I played with colleague.
Some groups head of us made me crazy. I followed them from 1st hole. They were not playing even though hole was empty. They were eating when we got to the 10th hole.At that moment no one was on the fairway and they ignored us we were waiting after their two groups.
I was expecting that they let us go through. Few minutes later laughing and eating, they started hitting a ball.
What a day with those ugly players.
No manner and rules at the course this days.

Course is definitely corporate
Called golf course 3 hours before tee time and was told it stopped Tsing and there was no standing water
Got there 45 minutes before tee time and was told cart paths only but will open up after 4 holes was told by the ranger on the sixth hole that the halfway house was open and we could get a hot cup of coffee and that the carts would be allowed on the course in a half hour. None of this was true either. Course never opened up to carts.
