Dry Fairways & Wet Greens
Tough year for Golf courses. No rain, Dry Hard Fairways & to much water on the Greens. Inconsistent conditions & lack of maintenance. This course is worn out..!

Pleasant round of golf.
No complaints. Course was very nice and in good shape. Very nice staff. Pace was very good. Tough off the tee at times because some fairways are narrow, but that's golf, just learn to hit your tee shots straight! Overall very nice experience.

A big disappointment for $75
This course was a big disappointment. I will try the Links on the other side of the street, but I do not think I will play this course again. Like most 18-hole golf courses, there were some nice holes. #2 a Par 3 is a very nice hole. And there were a few others, but for the most part, many holes just looked the same. Fairways lined with trees and some bunkers here and there with holes varying in yardage. My ball ended up in abandoned bunkers, no longer cared for, with weeds growing in it and zero sand. Some of these bunkers were actually in the tree line. The greens were nice, soft and slow, but nice. Fairways were a 7 out of 10, decent shape, inconsistent from hole to hole. As a senior, my $28 greens fee at Montauk Downs is a much better golf course, not even close. Gold tees were 5600 and whites were 6200. I'm have a 12 index so the whites were the appropriate tees.

Good value
Course was in very good shape
Except for many of the bunkers were lacking playable sand. Greens were at first very slow and as it dried out very fast. Challenging test of your skills.

Very tight course and challenging for 6,500 yards. Have to be straight off the tee for any chance on almost every hole.

Tree lined fairways offer lots of shade.
Beautiful golf courses in Farm country. Well maintained with terrific friendly staff.
We always stop and load up at the many Vegetable farm stands in the area.
Nice practice facilities and even Sand traps you can practice in !!!!
Very good restaurant, Halfway house and great bar with nice atmosphere.

Lots of shade on the tree lined fairways.
Conditions on this course are excellent. Greens were slow, but in great condition.

Challenging but Fun Course
What does everyone say to you when you are going to play golf? “Hit’em Straight!”
This advice is most appropriate here. The fairways are narrow with trees on both sides . Hence the name “The Woods”. Sometimes, though, the trees are your friend, kicking the ball back into the middle of the fairway. Sometimes the woods eats them too

Tight Fairways and Thick Rough
This course tends to play tough, particularly if you are someone who sprays your drives. The rough, even close to the fairways and greens, was quite thick and challenging. Greens were somewhat slow. I much prefer the Links course across the street.
