Best conditioned course in Fort Myers area
What a pleasure to play a lush, not dried out golf course in the Fort Myers area. We’ve played them all, Babcock Ranch, Heritage Landing, Herons Glen, Twin Isles, Fort Myers CC , Eastwood, better condition than any of the above, with great, un ball marked true greens.
Plus! a challenging layout, I’m a scratch competitive player and this will give you all you can handle from the back tees. Hidden gem of a course, don’t let the par 67 foul you, it’s got a 120 slope.
Hideaway
Great conditions, true greens , Service off course need to be more available..
hidden treasure
love this place. not extremely well known and kinda tucked away but worth every penny. layout is fun and challenging and greens always in great shape.
Hope
I hope GOF now is going to offer this course more often
Good day of golf
Went to play for 1 pm . The clubhouse had everyone lined up for a shot gun start at 1 hence we waited on almost every hole. We were paired with a couple gentlemen which helped pass the time . Green just fertilized and dry. .
A Nice Little Course...
Booked at the last minute on golf now. The tee time ended up being part of an outing. Our group wasn't required to participate in the outing but we were the last group out. Pace of play was 4 hours on a Sunday, not bad. This is a very short course, around 5,100 yards from the tips. The course has many par 3's, you won't need your driver very often. I did not walk but it would likely be a good course to walk. The greens and fairways were in excellent condition. Alot of tight and narrow holes so accuracy is a must. If you are looking for a place to bomb your driver this is not it. If you looking for a place to work on your iron play and short game give it a try.
Windy day on the course
Windy day but I played golf with a trio of guys from Ann Arbor Michigan and we had a good time on a great golf course
Really is a hidden gem.
Friendly staff, 1:00 tee off time with shotgun start. Finished in under 3 1/2 hours. Course is immaculate. Great deal in this area during peak season. Will hopefully be back.
Unkowingly, We were entered into a Club scramble. We started on the sixth hole with a shotgun start. Not what we signed up for and expected.
When I got there, I told the pro shop that we had an 830 teatime and the pro shop said yes everyone has a 8:30 tee time!
a 833 times
Members should proud of this course!
The staff was super friendly! Thank you! The pace was fine (under 4 hrs) . Great value compared to other venues. The layout is a blast as we fought through 20’ mph winds. The only negative was that we were paired with a member and instead of selling the course and the club to us; he complained about non member tee times and other club rules. We wanted to play golf and stay away from club politics. The members should be proud of this course!
