On My Top 5 List...
The Links At Spring Church is one of my favorite courses in the area. I found a great rate on their website and it is worth every penny. I don't think the course plays as long as the card reads, so if you hit the driver well you might want to give it a go from the blue tees.
SLOW!
Nice links style course but the pace was ridiculous. Quit after 13 holes because we literally waited 10-15 minutes to tee off on every hole.
The ranger should have been around the course telling the slow players to speed up. No excuse!
Had a 2:30 t-time and didn't get to tee off until 2:45.
Cold Day but Good Course Overall
The day me and my buddy played it had rained for the past 2 days and the course was still very damp. It was tough to play because of the moisture, and the day itself was cold, damp, and windy. The course itself though is usually in a lot better condition as they were still trying to get over the rough winter we had in the NE. This is usually one of my first choices in playing, especially when a good deal comes around ($20-$30).
Great course
Only negative-pro shop said because we booked through Golf Now, we had to wait 40 min until the tee time we booked. No one had booked the tee times prior to ours. It was just their policy that we couldn't tee off prior to our tee time. So we waited patiently.
The good news was that we paired up with a single who also booked thru Golf Now for same tee time and we never saw another golfer in front of us for all 18 holes. We were able to play 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours.
The course was in great shape considering the time of year.
I really enjoyed the course the leaves weren't an issue to the point that I didn't lose any balls. Though the greens were recently aerated the were in good shape and the roll was pretty true. Hopefully I can get a couple more rounds in before the snow comes.
one of the finest courses in southwestern PA
This is a super course. There are no bad or gimmicky wholes. The leaves were minimal even though there were trees. We never had to wait for a hole to open. If it were closer, we would play it often.
Nicely laid out.
The course was very well maintained. No leaves on the fairways or greens. Excellent for this time of year. Greens, medium speed and hold well.
Over all very nice.
I really liked the course. It really caught my eye.
Everything was great the day I played. The course really caught my eye and attention. Its not the hardest course out there but u better hit it where u should or you'll be in trouble. The staff was awesome. I booked on golf now and showed up a day early and the were super nice about it and got me and my playing buddy out that day. Its a must play for any golfer its well worth the ride.
Terrible that they cut out all the fescue.
Terrible that they cut out all the fescue. This used to be a signature of the course. I'm not sure if this is due to the season or not.
Beautiful place..
Not a long course, but not short. Very fair.My son and I had a great time.
Course was in great shape
Was back in town and am glad that I played here again. Definitely a course worth playing anytime.
Best course in the Northern Pittsburgh Area
Best course in the Northern Pittsburgh Area. Well maintained.
Worth the drive.
Great Time
It was a wonderful day to play a round of golf and the Links made it even more special. Though pace of play was a little slow, it was a Sunday and not unusual for that. The course was in great condition with firm fairways and greens were fast and true. I am looking forward to my next round there.
My Favorite Course I have played in the Pittsburgh area
This course was challenging, yet fun. It was in excellent condition. I live in the city of Pittsburgh it was about a 50 min drive but well worth it for the price I paid and how good the course looked. I will be back.
great fast greens
fairways & greens in very good condition. greens rolled very true. just enough bunkers & water to make it interesting.
Wonderful course
I had the pleasure of playing the Links at Spring Church for the first time this week. What a wonderful course! The course was in excellent shape, the layout was great, and the value for the money was exceptional. I've played about eight courses this summer using GolfNow, and TLASC offered the best value for the money, without a doubt. I would play here even without the deep discount, which is quite a statement, as I am pretty darn frugal these days!
Good value for the money
Course in good condition, Green pin placement tough on some holes. 2nd time playing will go back again.
Nice course wrong address
This was my second time playing here. Big wide open links course, you really dont lose very many balls here. Not very woodsy like some other around pretty open. The address on Golfnow does need changed as its wrong call the clubhouse. I tried to look at there sign outfrount but no help.
Beautiful course. Completely backed up.
We were on time for our tee time at 12:30. There was two of us and we waited on every single hole for at least 15 minutes. Longest round of golf I have ever played, very frustrating.
Good Course....wish it was closer....
Nice layout....Greens were a little beaten up, probably due to nice weekend weather...Got on for under $20 a piece, can't beat that...Would play again, wish it was closer to Pittsburgh....
