Great day, spoiled by the slow play of the two groups ahead of us.
A group of 5 people, split into a a 3 ball and a two ball.
The 3 ball waited on nearly every tee box for the 2 ball to finnish the hole, so they could have a chat. Would not let us play through. Incredibly frustrating. The group were visitors, and spoiled what is a magnificent course.
Poor T boxes
T boxes were littered with broked Ts and greens very patchy
Casual golf in the middle of an open comp
Booked a 2 ball on GolfNow app. Found out on the morning we were part of a 4. That was fine until the 2 other people told us they were playing in the open competition that day. So you had 2 people playing casual golf and 2 playing an open competition. Finished up after 4 hours 14 holes. The course is in great condition and it’s a lovely course but the pace of play was awfully slow. Selling 2 tee times for casual golf in the middle of an open comp isn’t on
3 of the 4 ball didn't play because of rain , I tried to join another 2 ball but that wasn't successful either. Therefore I didn't get to play & now cannot get a refund as you guys don't give any.
Very pleasant round
Course in very good condition and holes are varied and challenging.
Driving range and balls need more attention.
Well manicured
Lovely course so well kept and club house is 5 stars. Happily play again
Brilliant course
It was my first time playing the course but everything from the staff to the course layout was brilliant i actually loved it so much i signed up to be a member
Enjoyable course.
Very nice course with some very challenging but enjoyable holes.
The last 3 holes are testing with two par 5s and a long par 4 to finish.
St Margarets
Played on 12/08/23. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The clubhouse is very impressive inside. The course is a really enjoyable parkland with lovely water features throughout. The par 3s in particular are thoroughly well designed. The only downer to our visit was the pace of play was glacier like and the groups in front of us refused to let us thorough despite our group being smaller and in a buggy. Shame
Unbelievable golf course
Today 24/06/23 was one of hottest days to play a round of golf, St Margaret's G.C lived up to reputation. 8th hole was a challenge, But unfortunately after 18 holes of golf in a mini heatwave, I was unable to use the shower facilities, 🤔🤔 when I enquired to why there was no showers, no answer 😕
