Cow Pastures are Jealous
The course had no been mown in weeks. The greens were like crabgrass, and I mean no dis respect to crabgrass. It is the worst golf course I have ever played. Nuf said!
pace of play-reasonable ,friendly staff.
This course is being upgraded and will be very pretty when it is finished. It is a very affordable course so if your on holidays and like to golf often give this one a try. Er enjoyed it.
riverbend front 9
The front 9 is open this year and the back 9 is closed. The layout of the front 9 is far better. There is a lot less water on the front 9-the sand traps are not maintained. The greens are not in good shape.for the price-its just ok.The greenskeeper staff are friendly and amiable..maybe its just me at my level but we enjoyed our round .
Wish it was better kept.
Beautiful layout but the course needs LOTS of work. Greens are brown and flags can't stand straight. But good course to practice swings. NOT PUTTS!!
Don't do it !!!!!!!
This truely was the worst Golf ever !! The Greens were in poor shape ! It was if the course has not seen water in 12 months !! The entire back nine was closed !!! There was grass growing in the bunkers ! Please close this course until repairs are made !!!
The carts tires where bald. the grass looked like my back yard with weeds everywhere including on the green. the ball would bounce and not roll. mud everywhere. dead fish on the bunkers and on the green. like its been there longer than over night. 15 minutes to get a drink at the bar & 20 minutes later to order chili and fries. chili was cold and full of beans. there where only 4 people at the clubhouse total, & that included me and my buddy.
Not a golf course
Not from Florida so had no idea what I was getting. All I have to say is this is not a golf course. I mean there is somewhat some grass and 18 holes drilled, but imagine your backyard just cut fairly short, never watered or weeded and that's your greens for 18 holes. I was laughing, save your money, trust me.
Very bad condition
Extremely bad condition course. Should not be open. Old carts and clubhouse.
Course id basically unplayable. Bring SCUBA gear lol
Good starter course
This course would not be great for scratch golfers but, as a warm-up course for the beginning of the year, for your basic duffers, it serves its purpose. At present, only the front nine is opened, which I played twice. The tee-offs are adequate but the greens are rough (or non-existant in three cases) as they are just being worked on. In most cases, I would chip to the hole and if I was less than a club length, I'd count a one putt. The owner anticipates having the back nine ready in a few weeks so I'll definitely go back. You get what you paid for and, considering the addition of the cart, it was definitely a bargain; better than a driving range for the price.
Don't waste your time
Lived in Florida 14 years worst course I've ever played. They would have to pay me to play here.
This course has very poor conditions and it is reflected in their pricing. Hard to tell a different between fairways/rough/greens. Pricing is reflected accordingly. Rental clubs from 1980's. Overall I would not recommend this course unless it was completely redone.
had a great, time this is a blue collar course
great value, not cruwded, parts under repair, but i loved it
Greens were rough but we had a great time. Friendly staff . Interesting layout for an executive course. Holes were short but challenging. We went out for a warmup round because we were playing for the first time in three months, and it was ideal for that. Definitely go back again. Good value for the money.
Course needs some help
They lost course a couple years ago and have been trying to rebuild. Greens are in need of rolling as ball does the jitterbug as it travel across them. We go there because it's cheap and we can finish in 2 to 2 1/2 hrs.
What You Should Expect For The Price
We played the course once last year and decided to try it again this year. Last year, we had to play the front twice, this year we had to play the back twice. We knew going in that the conditions likely hadn't improved much - but we would have to say that the back 9 this year was better than the front 9 last year. Yes, the fairways and greens are in need of a lot of work, but for $12 we enjoyed the course and the pace of play - 2 hours to play 18 holes. We are experienced golfers but would go back for the challenges the conditions created at a price of $12.
The course should be removed from Golf Now
This little course might have been playable at one time but that is no longer the case--it should not be classified as a golf course and I strongly encourage Golf Now to remove it as one of their options.
No maintenance is being done but it might make a fun horse trail. I would rate as less than 1* but that was not an option on the review
