Riverbend Golf Course

Sorry, but something has changed a great deal from the previous times we have played here. We knew the front 9 was closed, and agreed to play the back twice. But the worst was the condition of the greens. Not putt-able. The ball bounced, not rolled. Scorecard showed nothing but yardage... it was office-duplicated. When I went to use the restroom midway -- there was not one single visible person in the clubhouse. A thief would have loved it! The fee was low and now we know.

Cannot putt on greens, fairways dirt and crabgrass, nice day but if you pay more than 20 dollars do something else with your money. Front 9 was closed but from the road the condition did not look any better. Nice views of the river now and then only positive thing about this place.

Fun for beginners. Front 9 was closed. Back 9 twice was allowed. Greens are barely playable. Need maintenance but for 10 bucks its always fun to play golf in Florida! :)

The course as a whole was in bad condition. We started on hole 10 and if we had played 18 we would have had to play the back 9 again because the front 9 was in worse shape. The greens were actually bumpy and did not have the same type of grass on them. We wondered why the price was so inexpensive and now we know. We would not go there again even though it was very picturesque.

The fairways and greens need a lot of work! Not much grass in the fairways and greens are bumpy.

Front 9 was being reseed so we had to play back 9 twice to get in our 18 holes. Course is in very poor condition and looks like it has had no maintenance in the past 3 years. Fairways are very rough and greens are basically not puttable.

I'm a beginner and its an affordable course to get some experience.

This course has greens that are only the colour green! They are in such poor condition it was impossible to put except for No. 18 which I normally would have considered poor.
This course should not be listed on Golf Now.

Had never played this course before and took advantage of Golf Now ad. should not have played, Course was in bad shape and the back nine was the only holes I could play, in the middle of the season they only had nine holes open,

I'm not a pro but have played many courses and this byfar has the worst greens I have ever puttedon. Do.not expect a straight putt greater than 8 inches (without a lot of luck). Had to play back 9 twice because front 9 were closed. (No reason given). Course is good for people practicing their irons. Forget, i repeat, forget the greens.

Although this course is undergoing significant change to the fairways/greens, we were able to play the back nine. Some holes were easy even for beginners where others were quite challenging to stay out of the sand traps. This course has a fantastic view of the river from the course. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

This course is a cow pasture, the greens were bumpy, uncut, I don't even think they had the proper grass to putt on. I don't think they have changed the pin positions in years, edges all tattered and frayed. The sand-traps were unraked, actually only saw one rake. We were told to play back nine twice and told front was closed even though I saw people on it. After playing 1st nine, there were 3 foursomes on the tee so we cut our loses and hit the road. I guess $20 per person should have tipped me off. The clubhouse that was supposed to be waterfront was messy and unkept.

Played here because everywhere else around is so expensive, but it wasn't even worth the cheap rate. Worst course I've ever played. Greens are awful and full of holes, fairways not much better. We didn't know before we went that the front nine was closed and we had to play the back nine twice. We didn't bother - gave up after nine holes. Stay away!

For the cost, it's a very nice little golf course for beginners like us. We will certainly be back.

Worst ever course I have ever played Weeds on the green. Greens had a inch of grass. Fairways were full of weeds. Worse than the rough. Traps were just holes. Se cases no sand. I asked for a refund did not get it. I will call golf now for refund. And by the way they said front nine is closed U have to play back nine twice.

Like playing in your back yard. Needs immediate overall improvements to offer for Public playing.

The course is in need of a major make over it is poorly maintained. Green are like putting in your back yard. No quite sure why it is so run down? Probably will not play there again till it is refurbished. I have never played a course that bad in all the years of golfing.Path ways and sand traps are in rally bad shape. Sorry but I am telling you the truth.

Worst course by far that I have ever played! Greens and tee boxes are terrible. Bunkers were overgrown with grass. Stay away.

Sadly, this property ought not call itself a golf course. While it would be adequate for practicing short tee shots, the condition of the greens makes it impossible to actually play a round of golf. The people at the clubhouse were wonderful and the hotdogs were first-rate, but the course itself will frustrate real golfers terribly.
