Riverbend Golf Course

course was in terrible condition, basically dirt tee boxes and bouncy rough greens....we will never play again......NEVER!!

Price was reasonable, everybody in foursome paid a different price???
No grass on tee boxes, slowest greens I've putted on

Didn't know what to expect until we seen the first hole was
only about 90 yards. Putting was a nightmare, the greens were
like putting on a fairway, "I'm not kidding" All I did was concentrate on making good tee shots and worked on the short game. I had fun nonetheless and hit a few old golf balls in the river.
Won't return again.

I can't believe that golfnow.com does business with such a bad golf course. The greens were terrible, the grass was between half an inch to an inch long. The golf cart look like it had been on a roadside bomb, completely desaligned with almost no brake and loose parts. Don't go there under any circumstance.

Appears not to have any maintenance people, tees are sand and weeds, fairways are in poor condition, greens not groomed and in poor condition

Especially the greens and fairways. The setting is nice and the staff very friendly.

There were no greens . Only grass . Looked like a fairway Was not a good experience We drove from Naples 45 mins and our day was wasted

You get what you pay for, right? It would be nice if the golf carts were charged. It would be great if the grass was cut so you can locate the ball. Nice scenery, good price. It beats working.

They just put in new greens and it will take a while for them to be cut low especially coming into the winter months. The people are honest about it, they are friendly and the food is great. Nice place for lunch or practicing irons. They look like they are putting a lot of money into the facility but it will take time.

Course played well and all staff were very friendly. Price was very reasonable but the greens are made of an unusual grass variety, I believe it is a Bermuda x blue grass mix, that makes it difficult if not impossible to putt on.

Greens had surface damage with one having been torn up by a vehicle.

Greens were terrible, no different from the fairway. No tee markers or hole descriptors on the back nine.

The course needs to be replanted. A lot of bare spots. Greens are unputtable. Directional signs are non existent .

I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone. Evidently they are broke but the surrounding area is beautiful and well kept. I really hate it for the residents.

An interesting setting, lots of big homes but the course does not reflect this. It is poorly maintained, if maintained at all. They need to get some sand for the sand traps and the greens need to be made into greens.......The holes are very close together so it would be a good course to walk. It was a lovely day and I think it is a pretty setting, has potential but needs someone to care about the golf course. Hope they can get their act together and do something to improve the course. Don't understand why the people who live in the subdivision don't speak up and ask for improvements. I can't believe that they would be happy with the condition of their course??????

I have never played a worse course in my life! Greens? what greens! It's like playing in a bad fairway! Would never go back!

Stay Away! That is the best advice I can give. If you lived in a house where the door opened onto the course right by the office, you STILL should not play this course! The staff, although friendly, was clueless. They were totally unprepared for play, with the front nine ragged and the back closed. Like miniature golf with bad greens. Can I make it any more clear?

this was the worst golf course encounter that I have had in Southwest Florida.

We arrived to find few people playing. Green on front nine were like the second cut. After finishing the front nine we moved to the back nine and found no tee box or flags. When we went to the club house there was no one around. We found a guy that sells realestate out of the same office and he advised the back nine has been closed since July. Found a girl in bar who left a note we may be back to play front nine again.
