Riverbend Golf Course

I enjoyed the lay out and realize that there are many repairs of greens and long carpet grass. They are working very hard at bringing up to par Front 9 only open and had to play it twice. I still enjoyed being out there along with my pair ups. I look forward to playing next year when I am backin the area

Only could play front nine twice. Greens were not maintained at all.

the epitome of deferred maintenance, the fairways weren't fair and the greens weren't green ... but the upside is that it was less than 50 cents per hole, so you can't expect much, can you ?

not worth time spent getting there, course needs cutting and no printed hole locations.

The course seems to be a really old layout, and at one time could have been a nice course. There was hardly any grass on the fairways and the greens seem to have a couple of different types of grasses on them, some of which was crabgrass. They had mowed the greens to the proper height, but there were several greens with large bare spots.

The course has great potential for a beginner or someone who wnats to work on the short game.

a little maintenance on this course could yeild a lot of benefits.

I wanted to get out and enjoy not working. It accomplished that but don't play here if you're on vacation. Play here only if you live here and want to practice your short game (less than 120 yards) in a real life scenario. I don't play often so it was basically a bucket of balls at a driving range with the courtesy of having a golf cart.

Nice little course, very friendly staff, has some challenging holes.
Requires a bit more grass growth on some greens.

If you just want to get out and hit some (very) short shots on to greens, and don't putt much - it is fine, almost fun. It is very short, and the greens need to be cut down - must have been 1/2 inch tall or more.

Liked the layout for an executive course, but they are not putting much effort into maintenance.....

It was a poor excuse of a golf course. We left after 11 holes. The greens were half leather. Balls bounced around. When you tee off you are driving into people teeing off on the next hole.,,,close.
The grass was shaggy and varied and you could not find where the 10th hole was located. It was half price that afternoon and it was backed up with many golfers.

Nice little course, nice clubhouse & restaurant. Staff was friendly and very accomodating. Greens were pretty beat up, play was slow, but overall, a nice, short course.

Very friendly and helpful personnel. But very basic course in bad shape. Good for absolute beginners.

The greens are slow and bumpy. If the greens were better, this would be a great value. Many of the holes were not as long as listed on the card. I might play this course again but hard to recommend to my friends.

The place is pure fun. Despite a relatively large amount of water you lose little balls. Super maintenance condition. We'll be back.

Terrible parking lot. Staff at pro shop extremely friendly. Wasn't any divit repair material at any t-box or on the cart. Weren't any ball washers. Every yardage indicator was incorrect. The greens were very spoty, very rough, very bumpy, not cut or rolled, and fungus everywhere. Majority of bunkers didn't have a rake or the rake was broken and at some of the greens there was only 1 rake for all of the bunkers. Fairways were o.k. but require maintenance. Liked the executive course layout & hole design. However due to the extremely poor maintenance, it gives this course the appearance & feel of a 4th rate golf course. Power cart was electric & worked great. Bar area was very appealing & very nice with friendly staff. In this course's current conditon, I could not recommend it to anyone. Not worth the money or the time.

My wife is just starting to play so this course was great for us. The greens, particularly on the back nine were rough and slow. They reseeded the back 9 and a number of greens were not trimmed which made for extremely bad conditions. However, if your not to particular it is a great course for a pleasant outing for not much money.

We enjoy trying to better our score each time we play. Each hole has water, sand trap, or an obstacle to strive to hit the green.
