Great value for money

A real hidden gem. Fairways are wide and it lulls you into the greens which are a real test of your putting. It’s better than so many other clubs around Dublin and amazing value for what you get

Was told upon checking in at the clubhouse that only 9 holes (1-6, 11, 17 and 18) were actually open and that the greens had just been hollow tined. If I had known either of these facts at the time of making the booking, I wouldn’t have made it. When I questioned the random 9 holes only being open, I was told in a fairly indifferent manner that I could do two loops of the 9 then if I wanted. Condition of course overall was just about ok, the greens having just been hollow tined were poor. Pace of play ahead was slow. Poor experience in general.

Shocker

Myself and my brother played here for his birthday. We had a 2:45 tee off. I have played several courses and never has it taken me and others in a fourball even to complete a course in more than 4 hours. However it was a different story here.

We were waiting on average 10/15 mins to tee off per hole across the course on each tee box. It became apparent to us that the course was over booked entirely! The pace was terribly slow. A competition was on. However, if a competition is on, why give the public a chance to play? My hopes were so high for this course and my brothers were too, but unfortunately the way this course is ran is pure money grabbing. The pace was so slow that 5 hours later (on a 2 ball) we had to call quits at 7:53pm on the 17th hole as we could not see the balls anymore

I would really not recommend this course to anybody. Support your local course or other well esteemed course rather than this money grabbing lot. A madness to think a competition can be run while the public pays above average for an average course and a below par running of what should be a well regarded course.

JOKE!!!!!

Great condition for late November

Course was in great condition given the time of year and the amount of rain this year. Greens were a little slow, but overall they were in good nick as were the fairways. Only one hole was a little boggy underfoot.

Overall the course is good but not great. Bunkers everywhere which are the only real features on the course. 4/5

Exciting East Course

A superb course with a great mix of challenging holes. Play well and the course rewards you. Playing at this altitude, I loved the assisting wind on many holes. Very exciting course.
