Amazing scenery, mountain goat golf

The setting for this course is absolutely beautiful, and if you get it on a nice day then the views all around the course are amazing. However, I did not find the course layout to be great. Holes are pretty close together, to the point you might be confused off the tee as to which fairway is yours. Every hole is either up a hill or down the next, to the point you are left desperately seeking level ground. There are a couple of points where you are teeing off over the green of another hole. I would come back to hike the ocean side cliffs more than the golf.

Wicklow Hills

This is a very pretty course with beautiful stunning views but it is very hilly which makes for a very tiring round if you are walking which we were..You need to be quite fit otherwise take a buggy. There are quite a lot of holes in the fairways where you could twist an ankle if not careful. A course planner would have been useful as there were a few hidden hazards. Not sure if these were available. The clubhouse has wonderful panoramic views and they have a good choice of food.

Hidden Gem - On Irish coast

I have played a few courses on the easy coast of Ireland. such as the European and Arklow (great tracks) This course is unreal and you would not believe that just 2 days prior to playing it was covered in snow thanks to the Beast from the East 2.0 Not mats, fairways outstanding as were the tricky greens. Not the longest of courses but you must think your way around as trouble is not far away The new professional is outstanding with such a friendly and approachable demeanour Only down side was that we were off winter tees I can imagine that in the height of summer this would be a great challenge. Great value course and I am honestly going to play it again tomorrow.

Great Course, Amazing Views

Every hole has a different view over the beautiful coastline. Course was in great condition after heavy rain, fairways had great run and greens were receptive. One small issue: we were asked to arrive early as there was a competition out after us. We had hired buggies, arrived early, 50mins early, and there was nobody in the pro-shop. As a result we, a 4ball, ended up being late to tee off and being chased all the way around by 2balls.

Super course

Played in February but conditions were perfect. Short course with a lot of trouble if your wild. Number of holes that you can hit iron from the tee but still a test. Very nice views from all holes.. Didn't have food but man working in the process shop was very friendly and helpful. 100% if your in the area play this course. Also, no need for a buggy, for a course build on a cliff the walk is not really an issue. Will be back here shortly.

Interesting course - amazing views

This is a lovely course with great view of the sea. It can be quite hilly at times, only two holes are particularly hard to walk around but mostly it's fine. Very interesting course layout and a tough challenge even though most par 4's aren't very long.

Excellent Course

If you`re not in well body conditions I`d recommend to use a cart, partly steep uphills...some greens need at least 3 putts due to sloping situations...only disadvanage -> no birdiebook avalable.
