Greg is the worst person
The golf course was nice, nothing to write home about but GREG.. he was awful! He watched our group the entire time and kept telling us to hurry up when no one was behind us. He then stocked us the entire course and verbally assaulted the two women in the group after filling them to the parking lot. There needs to be better control over the employees because Greg was ridiculous!
Well taken care of but a little too short
The course is very well taken care of and fun to play. The only downfall is that the course is very short. I believe that the one par 3 is barely 100 yards.
Overall, I would recommend it for a quick 9 holes.
very well kept
fairways and greens very well kept people very nice
Short course but it can be fun
This is a pretty short course with a bunch of par 3 holes. Even though it is a fairly easy course, its great for working on your short game. Greens are a little on the slower side. Fairways were pretty decent (in between a fresh cut and a little furry). Highly recommended for a beginner or someone looking to work on inside 40-50 yards.
Great Place to Practice
For having just Par 3s and Par 4s this course is great. It is not Country Club condition but it is nice enough that you can in joy playing. The only bad thing about Clover Hill is that it is always crowded, and they have A LOT of leagues. But overall Clover Hill is a nice place to play.
Course is horrible & Staff even worse
This is a course I would stay away from at all costs,
the course itself is in terrible shape and does not like it is uphold well at all. The staff is even worse as the course itself, Jim the cashier is a rude, egotistical, and down right mean. On top of that they charge you far too much money for what the course provides. Do yourself a favor and avoid playing here at all costs. Not only is Jim the cashier horrible, but the starter is even worse. To top things off, the players in the league as terrible people to be around and will not hesitate to belittle you at every opportunity they get. To close the course is in very poor condition, the staff is even worse, and the league players are even worse than them if that is even possible. Finally, make sure you complete your round if you do dare to play there, because Jim will certainly not return your money nor provide you with a rain check voucher. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE, ANYWAY IS BETTER TRUST ME. THE COURSE IS GREAT FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
it is what it is...........
first of all i want to say that i do like this course. if you like to bomb your driver however, you won't. this is a very short course with 3 maybe 4 holes that qualify as real golf holes. there is a par 3 that is only about 50 yards with a green the size of a pool table. that being said, it is an excellent place to practice your short game. fairways are tight and greens can be lightening fast. it is more difficult to score here than you would think. i am an 8 handicap and play here alot with my 75 yr old mother because she likes it and will only play here. i normally score around 34. if you can appreciate it for what it is, it is OK. when i say i would not recommend it to a friend, it is because my friends would not like it. i would recommend it to a senior player, beginner, or anyone that needs to improve their short game.
