Good Course Overall
Course has a lot of character. A little bit for everyone. Only complaint is there was some rain the day before, and the ground didn’t soak up any of the water, so there were a number of areas where it was wet, yet still hard and fast. Would recommend to others wanting to play in the area.
Mediocre course
Condition of course was ok. Many tee boxes were more dirt then grass. I’m a big fan of tough greens, but these greens ruin the game. Too much undulation and whomever is positioning the pins is making poor decisions. Several pins were 4 feet from the fringe, on a slope. Either putt is made or rolls 30 feet away from hole or off the green. Pace was brutal but it was crowded so i don’t blame the course too much for that.
Too much hard pan
I lost count of the times I was on the fairway and within an iron shot and my club bounced off the rock-hard turf and flubbed my shot. I did not enjoy that round.
Greens
The course layout was good the greens will ruin a good game, very hilly other then that nice course.
Something for everyone.
It had been some time since we last played Eagles Crossing. It's a little bit of a drive for me, so it went ignored for a couple of years. Having re-discovered the course earlier this year, I have to say that this place is one of best facilities around. The course is in great shape and the staff is super friendly. Golf course food has always been a favorite of mine, and their dogs and sausages are the best! The prices don't break the bank, either. The pro shop has just enough supplies to replace what you may have forgotten...I bought a wedge, reasonably priced, and I love it. Overall, I have been having repeated great experiences at this course!
Beautiful course
Course is always beautiful and was in great shape. Always a fun time!!
Challenging course not for flat landers
Course is in great shape, greens were slower than they looked and that caused some short putt, all parts were well managed it’s one of hardest courses in area but love playing there
Eagles Glen
Course is fun. Pin placement is everything. Gives you greens that are rally challenging..
Had a great audience on 17 when two toms and about 30 hens turkeys that came out of the woods to route me on.
Seasonal Condition
Didn't expect perfect condition since we are still in winter. Course was about what we anticipated. Based on past times there I am sure it will improve as the season progresses.
