Ridge Golf Course at Pole Creek Golf Club
About
Pole Creek Golf Club is a public 27-hole golf facility in Tabernash, the only one of its kind in Grand County. The holes are divided into three par-36, nine-hole courses, which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. You'll get a different set of challenges on each course but they each provide a classic round of Colorado mountain golf. On no other nine is this more apparent than the dramatic Ridge Course. As its name would imply, the layout features several dramatic ups and downs. Accuracy is key and having a good strategy is equally important. Golfers will also have to contend with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers along the greens, not to mention the occasional water hazard. The other two nines, the Meadow and the Ranch, are more mellow and approachable.

Beautiful, challenging and well taken care of
Pole Creek exceeded my expectations. From the beautiful flower garden in front of the clubhouse, to the beautiful fairways and outstanding greens the club exceeded my expectations. For a mountain course to be in this great shape and the greens holding well was a pleasant surprise.
The salad served in the clubhouse would rival one of the best restaurants.
I will be back to play again as soon as possible.
Back Again
We have been away for a few years and could not wait to get back to playing at Pole Creek. It is our favorite mountain course. Always in great shape, and yesterday's weather was fantastic. In the past we have purchase a pass for the summer, which I would highly recommend, but not this year. Having three nines makes each round a little different each time you book a tee time. All three nines are very fun, with different challenges for each. WE will be playing multiple times here late into the fall this year.
outstanding
only complaint is concessions, staff was nice, but slow, and the biggest problem was No Bev Cart,
Just don't get a course that doesn't have a concession cart.
I ran a course in Costa Rica, first thing you want to do is sell!!!!
Oh and provide for your customers experience
Must play.
Classic Mountian course that was in great shape. Staff was outstaying in helping me with a GN glitch.. Super fun course to play. Fair but challenging..
A Creek Runs Through It
Our first visit to Pole Creek. We were warmly welcomed by Laurie, who led us to a parking spot in a quite full parking lot. She left us the cart after telling us where to check-in and location of putting green and driving range. Later, we ran into her again and she asked if we had found everything - excellent customer service!
We played the Meadows/Ranch nines. The course was in good condition in all areas. The creek that runs through the course, jumped out and grabbed a few of our golf balls.
We finished the day by having lunch at the course restaurant and we’re very pleased with the food and service there. We had a GolfNow Hot Deal which made the rate quite reasonable.
Scenic
The course is beautiful and the scenery is incredible. Played Meadow/Ranch but would love to have another day to play the Ridge 9. Next time
They hate GolfNow at this course
I love this course but I have not idea why they participate with Golfnow. They are absolutely rude and annoyed when they pull up your reservation and its Golfnow. I asked them why they offer thru Golfnow if they don’t like it. They have no ianswer.. The course is fabulous. The marshalls and restaurant staff are wonderful. The clubhouse staff is super welcoming until they find out its thru Golfnow. I will play here again but never, ever do it thru Golf now.
Beautiful golf course
This is a beautiful golf course any time of the season, but especially In the fall with the leaves changing colors and snow on the mountains in the background. Carts have to be in at 5, so if you book an afternoon tee time you may not get all 18 in or have to walk the back nine, just a heads up.
Slow on the weekend
You have to expect slow play on the weekend but the course is in amazing condition so it was worth the waiting. Having a marshal push the groups that were super slow would have been helpful.
Awesome highly recommend
Thank you Pole Creek and Staff for great time 2nd time playing this the last month all 3 nines in fantastic shape tee to green. All staff very courteous and professional. Great practice and warm up areas. Good cover and very clean restrooms throughout all 3 nines also fresh water for hot days. Checkout the restaurant and bar good food. Looking forward to playing again soon.
