About
Pole Creek Golf Club is a public 27-hole golf facility in Tabernash, the only one of its kind in Grand County. The holes are divided into three par-36, nine-hole courses, which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. You'll get a different set of challenges on each course but they each provide a classic round of Colorado mountain golf. On no other nine is this more apparent than the dramatic Ridge Course. As its name would imply, the layout features several dramatic ups and downs. Accuracy is key and having a good strategy is equally important. Golfers will also have to contend with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers along the greens, not to mention the occasional water hazard. The other two nines, the Meadow and the Ranch, are more mellow and approachable.

Excellent course
Hands down the best course I have ever played on. It offers incredible hole designs, with great conditions. The views are amazing as well. This competes with several top 50 ranked US courses I have played and been on.
Mountain Beauty
Great layout. Played the Ridge and Meadows .Wind was a bit of a factor on 1st 9 but laid down for 2nd. Course was in great shape.Greens were smooth and fast. Definitely a challenge and a great value. I'll be returning!
Great Play
Played the Meadow and Ranch 9's on this day. Have to give kudos first off to the starter. They had a 30-minute frost delay and a lot of golfers booked. She did a good job of getting things rolling with minimal delays or backup on the course. The course was in excellent condition from tee to green. The scenery was spectacular and course a fun play without being overly gimmicky. Overall a great play at a fair price and would recommend.

Excellent mountain course
Course was fun to play and in excellent condition. Pace of play was great. Staff was friendly. Played in the afternoon so the weather was a little windy, and smoky from the California fires, but still enjoyable. Will definitely come back.

Amazing views. Great value for the course. Pace of play was one of the best I’ve had this year. Highly recommend this course.
Great Course
Have debated for weeks for pull the trigger on this course as I ski in the area in the winter. So glad I did. Played Ranch/Ridge. Ridge is in the hills for sure, lots of elevation changes. Course is in great shape and greens are even better. I do wish the greens were a bit smoother and rolled a bit faster. Idk if this is a preference of the regulars but kinda bumpy and fuzzy.
Note: I give staff friendliness a 1 star because we saw the beer cart once and when I went in to the bar to get my card after, they self tipped themselves on one beer! I can understand a large group of 12 or something, but one beer! I don’t agree.
Fantastic Course
One of the BEST courses we have ever played. The only better venue was Kings Barns and we have played The Old Course, Ballybunion, Pine Hurst #2, Sea Island, Whistling Straits, Spanish Bay, Torrey Pines South, and a number of other great courses.
The views were incredible, the bunkers had good sand, the fairways were excellent, the greens rolled true! We played the Ranch 9/Ridge 9 - OUTSTANDING in every way!
Enjoyable day
First time to play Pole Creek but definitely not the last. Loved the course. Beautiful scenery and fairly wide fairways for the mountains. It will definitely be at the top of our list for courses to play in the Breckinridge area.
