Bunker City
Been wanting to play this course for awhile and finally got to play on a Saturday afternoon which was very good value.
Some water hazards, but the main one here is sand...lots and lots of sand. Almost every green is protected by multiple bunkers and even some placed in fairways make for some strategic positioning. Aside from the par 3s which were almost all off a raised tee box, no real memorable holes (except for a long sweeping dog leg par 5 with a stream in the middle). Course conditions were nice and we saw the cart girl plenty. Wasn't crowded at all and would absolutely play again for the $40 in the afternoon as opposed to the more expensive morning. Every staff member we encountered was also very nice.
Slow
Course in good condition with some interesting holes. Good variety of holes and lots of bunkers. The only negative are extremely slow and bumpy greens.
Fun layout
Very busy golf course fantastic layout with well positioned bunkers in excellent condition. The day I played seem like the whole course could’ve used a trim ,greens were very slow. Staff is extremely friendly. Little pricey, but worth a play once or twice a year.
Not my favorite course
The course layout is interesting, it feels like you’re on a nascar track. The majority of the course has the pins turning to the left so it becomes somewhat monotonous. Also we had the great pleasure (sarcasm fully intended) of playing behind a group of regulars that seemed not to care that they were holding up 3 groups behind them. I knew they were regulars because before the round they were chatting in the parking lot and I overheard them talking about “living near by, playing there everyday and still being late for their tee time”.
All that being said it was still $52 on a Tuesday, each player for a course that had some patchy greens and poorly covered holes after pin repositioning. Most likely I will not be back. Not for that price, not for those regulars, and most of all not for a silly left turn circle.
Nice challenging course
For a Saturday in July, could not believe how smooth the round went, challenging course, greens can be deceiving
Good course
Staff was exceptionally friendly from bag drop, club house and starter. Course is in excellent condition, especially considering the amout of rain lately. 11:00am tee time on a Saturday and round took 4 hours and 25 minutes, which I felt was reasonable. This course is a challenge and makes you think, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
