Met and exceeded our expectations
Pace of play was our biggest frustration, the foursome ahead were 1 to 11/2 hole behind pace, we seen the Marshall twice but no corrective measures were taken
Great course
Course was in great condition. Greens were well maintained, firm and fast. Fairways were super, with nice grass, not sparse like a lot of courses around here.
Slow pace/no ranger to help pace
I played with my husband and another couple. Great 4some even though we didn’t know the other couple. The 4 people in front of us were extremely slow. 3 women one male. They Could have cared less of keeping the pace. On the 17th hole, some young boys cut in front of the 4 slow group and made us backed up for 25 minutes on the 17th hole. Not to mentioned the kids that were fishing on the pond at the 18th hole. They shouldn’t have been out fishing while golfers were still playing. It was only 5:30. My question is where was the ranger to help out? There’s plenty of starters taking your bag for a tip but not when you need them on the fairways.
A bit beat up
As pluses the layout utilized all the clubs in my bag, people were super friendly and the round was four hours. It’s obvious the course gets lots of play. The tee boxes were in a shambles and some of the greens had sections under repair. The rough was cut unevenly and the traps were sanded unevenly at best.
Great conditions except most tee boxes
Greens rolled well. Would be in better shape if people fixed their ball marks. Seems as if they are doing work on most fairways. Only disappointed in the shape of most tee boxes. Some par 3’s had nowhere to place a ball on any type of grass. Some tee boxes were unlevel which resulted in having to play the ball above or below your feet. Overall the course is in great shape and would play again.
Fun course
First time playing this course. Greens rolled well and were in pretty good shape. Fairways for the most part were good, just a couple that had some patches but seemed like they were growing in. Pace of play was normal. Our foursome group was just under 4 hrs. Front 9 had a nice simple layout, and the back nine had some fun/strategic shots. Good driving range with a nice practice green. Will be going back to this course.
