Very good course! Nice and challenging! Will be back to play when the weather gets better!
Was made welcome at the desk on arrival. Weather was damp but no rain and sun later came out. The course was in best possible condition with some fabulous holes. Some difficult and tricky holes but manageable and the greens were near perfect after a nights rain but the scenery of the mountains in the distance absolutely beautiful. Played a lot of courses to date both in Ireland and England and this is definitely top 3. Recommend it all day long
Excellent golf course, well maintained, fairways in great condition and well defined. Greens were good ,just a little slower than normal.
Bring plenty of balls
On entering the club you cannot help but be a little apprehensive due to the unfinished rough carpark. However the small but beautiful little clubhouse and luxurious locker rooms soon assure you that this place is better than 1st impressions. Great bunkering on holes. At least 3 holes with greens wrapped tight around lovely water features. Well planted trees and full use made of the hilly landscape. Greens are excellent. Great value and a fun round of golf if even a little difficult. Recommend a buggy due to long walk between tees and as stated is hilly.
The course was in excellent condition with inproved sinage, This course is challenging with lots of water
The course was grand, it ticked all the boxes but it felt like there was something missing... fairly short course so maybe the greens could be a bit quicker to present more of a challange....
Staff were very friendly but the food was a bit of a let down...
Overall it is well worth a visit.
A gem of a course
worth the drive from Dublin, course in excellent condition,
some tough holes, long par 5s, best course I have played in years, some second shots over water, 16th par 3 over water 180 yards,
Well Designed Course
Definitely would recommend this course if you haven't played it.
Some great holes and its a good challenge for any level of player. Its well maintained although the fairways were under repair on this outing. I've played here several times and will be back.
If you have not played here before- Give it a go, you'll be back guaranteed!
First impressions, great course lovely changes in elevation throughout, the rough - not too rough !! easy to find strays ! I enjoed this course because although it was challenging it was not fustrating,, really enjoyed it
Always in great condition and well maintained, nice greens and fairways, fab scenery and views the whole way round the course. Nice little clubhouse with full bar, one of the best courses around Kildare.
Great course in super condition played as a three ball all thoroughly enjoyed it , was a lovely day got one shower greens were in super condition only fault was the bunkers were rock solid could do with more sand and attention apart from that defo 9/10
Course was in excellent condition, considering all the rain we have had. Some lovely holes. Will play here again for sure.
Good day out
this course is nicely varied, good facilities, friendly staff, could be a little better signposted, but well drained (in a week where a lot of other couses had to close for taking on too much rain) great value on the whole, would look forward to going back
Course very dry considering wet conditions with some very challenging holes
Course very dry considering wet conditions. Some very challenging holes.
