Fun Course.
Greens are being aerated. A little bumpy but playable. Fairways are good. A lot of divots not filled. Nice layout.
Great Course
Other than the club house pro showing up late the day was awesome!
give yourself an extra hour to get there.
Just getting to the club house took me 50 minutes once I was near the course. Gates everywhere some with guards some without. No help from the guards. I was told its my GPS, that this was private property. Couldn't find the bag drop. Couldn't find the golf carts. Checked in walked over to the range only to find I had to buy a token at the pro shop. Too many screw ups! It took me 3 holes to clam down. It was a nice course. Management was lacking. Now that I know how to get there and checked in I might play again. Too many other courses around to put up with this.
Noisy fun
Have played here before but it was the first time playing the new layout as they now have 36 holes. So the west course did not come up on our gps, so we will have to do an update on that. Course facilities were great and the course is in great shape. We were on carts but many of the first nine holes were cart path only. You are very near Luke’s airforce base so there was a lot of jet traffic, quite noisy but was cool to see some of the maneuvers. Back nine was super, lots of unsuspecting water which we dropped a few balls in. Consistent greens, a little slower than some courses but putting was not an issue. Enjoyed our round and will come back again armed with our gps!
West Valley
New front nine; three holes are cart-path only; back 9 more mature.
The entire course is in excellent shape, from tee boxes to greens and sand traps.
The course layout is somewhat benign - I remember one dog-leg, else, all straight.
Two 500-yard par 5s (birdie holes); par 4s range between 265 and 425; and par 3s around 165. Well-maintained, closely cropped greens - aim true with reasonable speed.
Enjoyed the jets from Luke ... sound of freedom baby!
Great experience
Had my time changed to 30 minutes later but was advised.
Placed with 3 people from Pebble Brook who knew the course well and provided great local knowledge.
Front 9 is new and very expansive. No homes to be seen anywhere. Great condition.
Back 9 among some home but they are not obtrusive,
Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in excellent condition. Wide fairways take most of the desert out of play.
The grass fronting the greens is thicker than I am used to and often grabbed chip balls and held them up short of the green. This is not a complaint, only an observation.
The greens are interesting in that, other than the last 2 or 3 holes, you may think there is a break but the ball runs pretty straight. Keep that in mind.
Played on a Sunday afternoon in 4 hours. Really good. Definitely a keeper.
New 9 at Tucsany
The new 9 at Tuscany West is a good track. They added real sand for the bunkers and the greens rolled OK even though it was recently aerated.
Nice track and facilities
Early morning round and we had the course to ourselves. The front nine is brand new and in perfect shape (as is the back nine). Holes 3-8 are still cart path only until the turf is soundly established. The greens were immaculate and the sand traps nice and fluffy. Fairly straight forward course with little to no surprises and blind shots. Some fairways were pretty narrow requiring very straight tee shots. Facilities are very nice and the staff was extremely friendly.
Cart Path only today but finished 3 hrs 15 min 4some
Shorter par 72 course. Grass is fantastic, tee box, fairways and greens all peak condition. Fairly open layout not many hazards, few trees, little water. Bunker sand softer than most and low lips. Holes separated so nobody's errant slice will ever fly onto your fairway. Greens soft, true, and big but not ridiculous, held everything. Scratch golfers might be bored but I enjoyed and may even play it again without getting a Hot Deal!
Great Place
Love the course. Greens rolled well. Fairways were solid, for this time of the year. Pace of play was great. Love it at Tuscany Falls.
Nice Course
Pebble Creek always is in good shape. The grass is nice on the fairways and greens. The ball stops on the greens where you hit it. It has a nice practice area but no free range balls.
Fantastic!!!!!!
We got an amazing hot deal from golfnow but the course is worth lots more.
Staff rude and confused
Arrived 40 minutes before tee time. Starter wasn’t sure who I was playing with. Sent me with employee and spent 10 minutes looking for them. Couldn’t find them so was told to wait while he found me a cart. End result couldn’t putt or hit balls. Finally found my threesome, let locals hit in front of us. Teed off 15-20 past assigned tee time Had a good time from there on.
Had a great time
I look for some basic features when playing a course. This place had them all. Friendly people in the pro shop, nice facilities, good range and nice putting and chipping areas. Everything was well kept and in good condition. The carts are comfortable. The front 9 on the course is new. A few holes were cart path only because they want the grass to root fully. Not an issue. Overall, the course was in very good shape from tee to green. I thoroughly enjoyed my round. I met some nice people who had a home on the course. I had a great time on a great new course.
Absolutely phenomenal course! Pace of play was good, Marshall was friendly, and the brand new holes are gorgeous. Definitely am going to to come back here!
