Amazing course
Amazing course I just wish there was a feature to tell you the greens have just been hole forked and sanded!
Amazing Course
From the moment you walk through the arch at the pro shop to the amazing finish on 18, the O’Meara at Carton House is a simply wonderful experience.
Good course for some winter golf
The course is in great condition, we got slightly delayed due to frost but well worth the wait and could enjoy coffee and food on site.
Top parkland challenge
Warm welcome in the pro shop.
Although off the forward tees and with winter rules in play the course still provides a great challenge.
Greens is top condition and the stretch of holes from 14 to 18 is the best you will get on a parkland in Ireland.
1 of the best courses in the country
The rain the past week destroyed our game today unfortunately
What a course
The Montgomery course is sensational, in perfect condition, challenging but not impossible. Really well layed out with some brilliant holes, in particular the par three 17th and the par five 18th is an amazing hole to finish on.
It rained all morning before we teed off but you'd hardly have known after an hour, the fairways were solid and the ball ran for miles. A true links experience
Amazing place but pace of play ruined it
Everything amazing except the pace of play. Stuck behind a 3 ball and then a 4 ball. The 4 ball would not let the 3 ball through and subsequently i was stuck behind both of them. Incredible poor behaviour from 4 ball especially they were taking an age on greens. Normally would get around most courses in 3.30hrs.
5hrs for 1 player to get around. Neither groups offered to let one player through
Fantastic golf course
Fantastc golf course, with lovely views and great layout. The greens are the best i have played on, challenging but roll so nice...very impressive conditions given it was October conditions.
