Excellent condition
Course very well maintained and in great condition.
Great condition but…
The course is near immaculate. Greens very speedy, the tee boxes perfect. The course is excellent and requires precision off certain holes. The only issue was that there was a match play competition out ahead of us who’d made the game incredible slow. Like, outrageously slow and they wouldn’t let us pass. In fairness, there was another 3 or 4 match play groups on front of them. Nonetheless, a great course, a great club and excellent value for money.
A beauty
I was staying at the Osprey Hotel at Naas and wanted to play a local course so booked a deal with GolfNow for €19. The course is about a 10 minute drive from the hotel.
The staff at the clubhouse was very welcoming and told me the course was clear and off I went and what a hidden gem it is. The course itself is a parkland course, very well maintained. There’s water that runs through a good few holes, so it’s not about taking the driver out on every hole, you have to think about either bombing it over the small brooks that run through the holes or laying up.
The greens were in great condition and the roll was true. The par 3s are a nice mix of short and mid iron. The course itself isn’t long about 6000 yards.
I never got to see inside the clubhouse as I was short of time, but it looked very nice with a bar/restaurant looking over the course and a wrap round balcony.
I have to say I really enjoyed playing it and I would definitely play it again
Superb course
First time playing this course and I was really impressed . Cracking course . Only bad thing was the greens had been forked and sanded and we’re really difficult to putt on. I will definitely play again hopefully with better greens to putt on .
Tough but fair
Course in great condition and staff very friendly. As a 1st time player on this course I found it very easy to navigate the course as the sings were easy to follow. A tough but fair course with a lot of challenging water features.
Fairways
Overall, course great, fairways very tight, needs more fertilizer to thicken the grass up, friendly staff in pro shop.
And lovely meal on balcony. OVER ALL 4 STARS, BE BACK AGAIN SOON.
Best off booking through their website. When I played the prices were: 15 per person or 25 for two people
Really enjoyable course
Always great to play Craddockstown, staff are 100%. Course is very enjoyable but the greens had a lot of untouched pitch marks. Bunkers looked like they hadn’t been racked in a month. Overall I really like the course
