The Orchards At Egg Harbor
About
The Orchards at Egg Harbor is situated on the peninsula that separates Lake Michigan from Green Bay. The area's natural beauty is perfectly encapsulated on the golf course. The layout starts out gently with a relatively flat and mostly open front nine before moving on to the tougher, hillier back nine. The front nine does have its fair share of strategically placed bunkers though, most notably those lining the fairway on the tricky uphill seventh hole. There are a variety of elevation changes on the back nine that range from subtle to dramatic. Golfers can be sure to expect some difficult lies. Water is not a prominent feature on the golf course but it does come into play, quite memorably, on the 17th where a massive lake wraps around almost the entire hole.

Best Course in Door County
I've played this course many times, and it's THE course to play in Door County. Absolutely gorgeous layout with challenging but fair holes, and quality greens. The course itself is in wonderful shape, and offers beautiful views from many different locations on the course. The clubhouse and restaurant are also first-rate, and provide a great place for a 19th hole beverage.
Best course in area
I play here every time we visit Door County. The prices have gotten a little steep but the course is in very good shape, scenic, and a variety of holes. With 5 tees you can pick the one that matches your skill. I am 66 with about a 19 hdcp and played the middle (white) tees.
nice but pricey
Overall the course was in great shape, but pace of play over 5 hours is pathetic for a good course if you wanna be one. ANd 60$ for 18 and a cart is over the top as well. Id go back but only if I found a deal for 1/2 that price.
The signature hole presents a blind 2nd shot for most golfers.
Very nice course in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. Well maintained, with a great staff of friendly local residents. I live in Door County, and I will normally recommend that we play this course, to my out of town visitors. It has it's challenges, but the 15-18 handicap weekend type golfer, has a realistic chance at par on every hole from the white tees. Some of the tips will present a challenge to any golfer. Pace of play is faster than most. Greens fees are a little higher than others, and it seems better golfers chose this course. I'd rate it tied for 2nd best course in Door County. Tied with Peninsula State Park, and second to Horseshoe Bay.
Beautiful course . amazing scenery
Disappointed in course condition. Perfect fall day - but they were plugging the fairways. No notice given at clubhouse or when booked. On third hole they were running tractors along side of us golfing and then dragging chains across. Very distracting. Also on next four holes they were done with the plugging of the fairways and when you hit your ball it hit the clumps of dirt and just stopped. Front nine was terrible.
When we got to the back nine they hadn't started yet so in beautiful condition. However, we saw them doing the front nne the next day while people were golfing.
Not at all customer friendly and a lot of people go to Door County in the fall to golf.
I liked the course very much
The weather was good- the play was a little slow.
The course was it great shape-I would play it again.
The course has a good layout.
Orchards is very playable for golfers of all skills. Very well conditioned.
Fun course & in good shape
Friendly staff, greens where in good shape & rolled true.Always enjoy playing The Orchards when were
in Door Co.
Great way to spend the day when the gals are shopping.
Front nine tighter than back getting your attention to position right off the bat. Fairway conditions were as good as some TPC courses I have played. Greens were unscared and rolled true. The course was enjoyable to play
Nice all-around option
A fairly challenging track for most player levels
Pretty open layout but have to make good off the tee.....can be windy at times
Relatively quick greens
Best conditioned of courses in the nearby area
Worth a try if you get a decent rate
