Located in the desert just north of Phoenix and Scottsdale, the golf course at Quintero Golf Club is a challenge but with up to as many as nine tees per hole, it can accommodate golfers of all different abilities and handicaps. The rolling, desert terrain of the course features dramatic elevation changes for interesting play. The golf course's design has wide fairways and plenty of water hazards and sand bunkers. The most difficult hole is the par-5 8th hole, which plays uphill with three large bunkers alongside the right side of the lay-up area. Another difficult but noteworthy hole is Quintero Golf Club's third, which has a scenic lake to the left that sometimes tricks golfers into playing close to it with their tee shot for an easier second shot to the green.

The pace of play was brutal.. took over 3 hours to play the back. 9, we were told rangers would keep the play moving, but we never saw a ranger. I would play again if I knew we could play in under 4 1/2 hrs. Would not play again if I knew it would take over 5 hours

Exceptional experience

This beautiful course is located quite far but certainly worth to visit.
Unbelievable conditions: fairways, greens, ruffs and t-off places, and interesting course design with few stunning par 3s, makes this a true desert golfing heaven. No other words needed.

Quintero Golf Club

Amazing course. I think I the only room for improvement would be to get some better sand in the fairway bunkers. They were full of small rocks and for a course this nice they should be a little nicer. Otherwise the views and the condition were beautiful. Highly recommend.

Greens were not good. Pin placement on 14 is very unfair.

Best Course in AZ

Give yourself the time to enjoy this Gem. Huge property. Must take a 5 minute cart ride from clubhouse to driving range. Large range with chipping and putting range. Great condition. This course is in great shape. It’s tough but fair. The views are unlike any other in the state. I loved this experience. Especially with my daily deals rate, I saved 50%!

What a course

If you're crazy enough to challenge yourself on a mountain course, this is it. Beautiful layout, overwhelming scenery course. Dare Devil Par 3s. Everything was beautiful however, the course condition was not at it's best shape. Some greens have spotted grass. Overall it's beautiful. Will play again. Hopefully the greens are a better shape.

Great golf course layout in great condition. Ran over a rattler that came across the cart path at the wrong time. Post round bar closed at 6….a bit early since we did not finish until 6:15.

Breathtaking landscape, Course layout is playable for average golfer, bunkers, greens and elevation changes will challenge any player. Lots of range in tee choice. Very helpful and attentive staff. Immaculate course and green conditions. Awesome and worth the drive.

Super Layout - Needs Some Help

Great layout and great staff but the course is overcharging. The tees for the par 3 holes were very poor and while that is a hazard of these lily pad tees I expect more for the $ they are charging. All of the greens were very thin and sparse of grass. The roll was okay but once again hard to justify the price they are charging. People are outstanding, practice area outstanding, and the fairways superb! The design is great until the par three holes are considered. Three are drop shots from extremely high elevation, I mean extremely high, which results in massive ball marks that pock mark the greens. They should hire marshals whose job is to make sure people repair their ball marks on the par three holes. Love the setting and the design but overpriced at this moment in time.
