Challenging links course
A great links course and a great challangr for golfers of all levels. Slow pace of play is a concern with groups jumping ahead on the 16th.
Great course Great layout
Had a friend home from America so decided to go here and wasn’t disappointed will definitely be back great links course!! And we were so lucky with the weather 24° Just made it even better!!
Classic seaside location. No towering dunes but views to the sea on the outward nine. Course is well maintained and should be enjoyed by any avid links enthusiast
Confusing and Fantastic
Course was in superb condition for anytime of the year. Holes were a nice layout with great bunkers and tough approach shots.
Only bad thing to say is its not 100 percent clear on the route of the course. Almost hit down the wrong fairway twice. Also the 18th could do with a guide marker for where the green is.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Overpriced at 120
Decent links course with some challenging holes, some easy holes, and a very bland back 9. Overpriced at 120euros/round for this course, IMHO. Has one of the stupidest blind 18th green. Green is completely blind behind two massive hills, so unless you have played before, or have a caddie, there is no way to determine where to hit. Back 9 is not memorable. I wouldn't return for the price they are charging.
Club selection was tested!!
Course was in Suberb condition from tee to green, bunkers were well raked and a very enjoyable round was had by all.
First time playing the course..
We got Laytown on a good day, not too much wind (!). Challenging course, some really good holes particularly some of the Par 3's. Greens in great nick.
Off course very friendly and a nice bite of food to eat after.
