Decent and fair

Greens were a let down and some tee boxes were in poor condition but other than that the course was fine, a fair test for the average golfer, alot of scoreable holes. Would play again

Black bush review

First time playing, very enjoyable, very few difficult holes, which is great for me, the ground was very wet so the ball didnt travel after landing, so I would imagine its a very easy course on a dry day. I will play it again, great to get the confidence up

Glorified pitch and putt

This course had makeshift greens on each fairway as the greens, which were perfectly fine, were deemed unplayable. The golf club did not notify us about this change. Waste of money playing golf where every hole is 20 yards shorter. Glorified pitch and putt

Expecting a refund or another round

Hi,

Myself and three friends had a tee time booked for 5:12 on Sunday the 2nd of August. We arrived to the course approximately 4:30 and the pro shop was closed. Went into the bar and said we'd like to check in and were told to head on out. Only problem is this golf club has 3 different 9 hole courses. The booking was for 18 holes and were never told which two courses to play. After speaking to a few members in the car park we were told maybe it is the best idea to head out as there was a club competition and also an inter club match. As a member of a golf club myself I was aware of the trouble jumping out in the middle of a competition could cause and also the fact we were never told which courses to play we decided against. I have played this course before and was looking forward to bringing my friends and all of us drove for about 40 minutes from Dublin to play. I am expecting either a full refund or a rescheduling of the round we were due to play. I hope to receive a reply soon enough if that is ok, thanks.

Excellent maintained course

I played early one morning as a single. The course was in fantastic condition. Fairways and greens were top drawer. Black Bush is not a easy course with lines of over hanging trees up close to the fairways. The only thing which I feel let’s it down is that the club house is on lock down for members only, accessible with key fobs, including the toilets.

Undiscovered jewel

We visitors from Spain played 2 balls on friday at noon as we’d got a hot deal, but we could start early and played A and B greens excellent. Flat, tree lined fairways but usually a fairly wide landing area for drives. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens were all in excellent condition. The club house seemed to be locked out for non members which didn’t feel very friendly, as non members we struggled to find a toilet. Would recommend the course overall. Not earth shatteringly brilliant or anything but certainly a decent, well maintained course and We'd like play it again on the future.

Excellent Maintained Course

The course was immaculately cut and in great condition. The fairways had a slight bounce and the greens were consistent. The club house seemed to be locked out for non members which didn’t feel very friendly, as non members we struggled to find a toilet. Overall it’s a challenging course with some beautiful holes and I would recommend it.
