Cimarron Golf Club combines challenging golf with excellent landscaping and scenic views of surrounding mountain ranges. Although the course has many difficult elements, with four sets of tees it can easily accommodate different skill levels and abilities. The design of the golf course features numerous strategically placed bunkers and also desert waste areas. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as well. Functional yet attractive landscaping complements the course. Cimarron Golf Club, in addition to the golf course, has many practice facilities including a driving range, putting green, and short game area with a bunker.

First time playing

Been wanting to play this course for a while now , course was well maintained, from greens , tee boxes , to fairways , sand was even nice little thin but great ! Pace of play was on point , only had one problem had a group of members behind us complaining we were slow and just being outright rude saying they own the place and were going to have us kicked off got pretty heated at one point mind you we made the turn in 1 hour and 45 minutes so we’ll with in pace …… talked to the pro shop about this they said this guy is well known for being this way … this is the first time I’ve ever experienced this while golfing and I’ve been playing for 30 years not a great experience for paying $85 per person delt with this outstanding citizen from the first tee to the 18th green

You were 2 holes behind after 3 holes. Your loud mouth yelling profanities to be heard on a tee box when you were as far away as the green is not acceptable in any forum.
The marshal did an excellent job correcting your pace of play.

Not what I expected.

While playing the North and the South courses. I heard that Cimarron was the most difficult of the Grand courses. It is NOT. It was average at best. Nothing special about it, and much shorter than the other 2. Was actually disappointed. The course itself was in good shape and the greens were semi fast and true. The fairways were very recently aerated. The only food was at the halfway hut. Not worth $125.00.

Angry staff

Some of the most unfriendly and angriest staff I have encountered. Exudes an old and grumpy vibe. Will never return.

Great pace of play
The only thing I would change is to have the greens in a little better condition for Jan
Somewhat fast but patchy

Fun course to play

Enjoyed playing Cimarron course today, staff was very friendly, they did check to make sure we kept pace with the group in front of us. Course conditions where better then most courses given the dry hot summer here.

Well Kept Course

Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape, especially with the heat we've been having.

Tough course

Started out great, then the golf gods woke me up. Lots of bunkers with typical Arizona sand, and lots of water around the greens. Nice course , maybe a better round next time.

They Canceled my ttime an hr before I was gonna tee off

Got a call from pro shop an hr before my ttime saying there’s a frost delay and they are canceling my ttime, I said you guys don’t just push it back? He said nope, that’s how we handle things here, I said what about the $120 I paid on GolfNow? He said you’re gonna have to figure that out with them. Day ruined. Thanks. I will never go back there
