absolute disaster, why no information on the course

Holes 1,2,3 and 18 are closed, until when who knows
6 other greens were covered in pebbles and sandy stones, an absolute disaster.

My 3 friends and I took a day off work and as usual paid up front, got to the course to find it more like a building site, I can appreciate work being carried out to improve/protect the course and have no bother with that, its great to see improvements.

my gripe is with golfnow itself, why not inform the players that the course is currently a building site and not take the fees or at least make the buyer beware

bad bad bad form and left a very very bitter taste

and doubt very much I will use this site again, I had been a very regular user, but doubt I will again

Castletroy

Had a great time playing a round here in Castletroy, course was in fantastic condition for an irish course in October , greens were a credit to the grounds staff and the course as a whole looked immaculate.Highlight of the round was a birdie on the par 3 11th.To play this course for €14 was great value and I will be keeping an eye on Golfnow for more great money saving golf.

Really nice course

Lovely course, carpet greens, really good sandy bunkers. One steep hill to 13 green but fantastic view of surrounding area from the top. Well worth the climb especially to play the 14th, par 3 elevated tee box. Would highly recommend a round of golf at this course.

Fantastic course a hidden gem

Was pleasantly surprised at the fabulous condition of the course which is only recovering after one of the fieriest storms to hit the region in years.
Lots of trees down but the course staff and members were fantastic, clean up work ongoing but course was in great condition, full greens and tee boxes except for 2 holes where work was being done.
Will play again.
Very friendly staff and homely atmosphere in clubhouse
